“Hey. That’s my mother you’re talking about.” Kane is smiling so I know he doesn’t really take offense. “I’m surprised I got them to agree, too. I thought I could get maybe half of them to sign on, but I managed to get most of them onboard.”
“I don’t think those old bats have ever agreed on anything in centuries.”
The vampire royals have all left to return to their kingdoms. Kane, Lex, and I are in Lex’s office celebrating over our victory.
