A U R O U S  I watched the battle, a playful grin on my lips. The girls clung to me and I sighed. I never expected my father to make her my Star Knight. My mind drifted off to when Gwen poured tea onto Helen; I watched as Helen's faced went from shock to anger, and then disbelief. At me, me who just stood there and watched. Then Ivory grabbed her and took her away. I had asked Gwen why later. She just didn't like her. I scowled. This is what my father expected me to marry?! She's so...Gwen.  I stared at her when she came, wearing her outfit; it fit her body perfectly and showed her lean body. She looked so radiant, happy even. She seemed so interesting; no other girl would want to become a Knight and reject marriage or a peaceful life. I remembered when I first saw her; she looked right past me to my Royal Knights. Hahaha... it was hilarious. Ferric started by trying to freeze her in place, but she dodged his attack. She swung out her dagger and skinned Ferric near the shoulder. In return, Ferric froze her hands. She glared at him and broke free. She twirled, landing a graceful kick at his shoulder. He winced. She started to glow gold, letting dusty pink wings grow from her back. She screamed in agony. I frowned, why use power if it hurts you so? Her arms started to shift, turning to pale pink spear blades. She attacked Ferric with them, cutting through his ice with ease. Ferric stabbed a blade of ice into Helen's torso. She screamed in agony. She grasped her stomach and smiled. The light flickered on her skin. Soon her wound disappeared... and instead appeared on Ferric. He collapsed. Finally, it stopped, and Helen stood, looming over Ferric, guilt on her face. She was contrarily emotionless. Even though her eyes were as cold and as beautiful as ice, they burned with a blue flame. And I then realized that like a moth, I was drawn to her flame. And I would burn with her if I could.
