"Where's the boss?"
Ely couldn't help but ask Zack. It's almost lunch time but there's no sign of Kristoff yet.
Their boss had no schedule for the whole day today. Zack specifically told her the other day not to set any appointment with Kristoff. He did not tell her why.
She thought that he'd just be staying in the office. But alas, no sign that he's coming to work.
"Mark the date today, Elyana. If you're still part of the team next year, remember to keep this date appointment free," Zack answered while sorting out the files he just photocopied.
"Is it his birthday?" her curiosity made her ask again.
"No," Zack's reply was both short and dismissive.
