“You are running away, Elyana,” Jodi said while passing a cup of coffee to her.
Ely was at her friend’s house because she felt like Hansen’s mansion was too crowded for her and Kristoff. This morning, she learnt that he was on indefinite leave from work and would be staying in the house most of the time.
That didn’t sit well for Elyana. She couldn’t stand to stay in the same place as Kristoff. Especially because they both share the same reason why they were in the house, and that was to spend time with their daughter.
“What do you want me to do? Stay even if my whole being wanted to scream from the mere sight of him?” She asked, a little hurt at being told that she was running away.
