The next morning, I woke early and dressed fast. I went into the kitchen and made a sumptuous meal for my brother with the chef's help.
I wanted to leave early so I could get back early.
I also didn't want to run into Luca if I was very honest.
The enormous platters of meals were packed into the car and we left.
Lorenzo went with me. We picked up my cousin Enzo at his house and he came into my car with me.
He smiled winsomely, looking very handsome like his father. "It's been a while. I didn't believe Valentina when she said I would be going to see Adriano with you." He laughed.
I shifted away from him. I wasn't very comfortable with him. I didn't trust Enzo. I was already fighting with his father, why was he smiling and looking so agreeable?
