The next day, I woke up in a good mood. I wasn’t sure why, but I felt positive. As I rushed out of the hotel, I reflected on what had changed within me and had to admit that spending time with Ronald had lifted my spirits.
I got into my car and drove to the hospital. All my colleagues who were already there greeted me warmly, especially Lily.
