As I woke up, I felt a slight headache from the night before. Despite the discomfort, a smile crept across my face as I turned over, wanting to wrap my arm around the beauty I had met last night—only to realise that the space next to me was empty, causing my eyes to widen in surprise.
After looking around, I sadly realised that the she-wolf from last night had left quietly. I lay back with a sigh, staring at the ceiling for a while.
