I arrived a little late at the restaurant where my father had reserved a table. We had only three days until the ceremony, and it was time for me to meet my future Beta.
As I had no friends, my father nominated three Betas around my age, and after evaluating them, he decided which one would be the best option. The one he chose was Nicholas Cameron.
