“What is this gown?” I leaned closer to her and asked quietly. She smiled at me angelically. “I wanted to surprise all of you. It was a little trick I discussed with the assistant in the boutique. I love the green one, but I think this is way more beautiful. Don’t you like it?” She looked at me as if she really wanted my praise. I couldn’t blame her; I knew she loved me deeply, and I had no reason to turn her down. “Erin, I love it, as I love you,” I smiled. “You should have seen the faces when you entered. All the attention was on you, and I have a good reason to believe every single male wants to be me right now, and not just because of my position as a leader.” I told her quietly, which seemed to improve her mood.
