I chuckled nervously. "I'm not sure that gown is worth so much effort," I said, immediately regretting my words as Ronald's expression changed. He grew serious and pulled his phone out of his pocket. After searching for something on it, he slid the phone towards me on the table. I picked it up, and my eyes widened when I saw the gown he was referring to. It was breathtaking. The primary colour was silver, covering the entire body, and at first glance, it didn't leave much to the imagination. However, when observed up close, the craftsmanship was so exquisite that it must have taken a long time to make.
I looked at Ronald in disbelief. "I don't even dare to ask the price of this gown."
His grin returned. "So, isn't it worth a date with me if you want to borrow it?"
