I didn't want to disturb them, so I decided to say hi and give them some privacy. Walking toward the living room, I frowned when I heard Lily's angry voice explaining something to Erin. Not wanting to eavesdrop, I entered the room instead. Both of them looked at me as Lily stopped talking.
"Ronald, I didn't know you would come back so early," Erin said, standing up, taking my hand, and pulling me into the room.
"Lily, this is Ronald," she introduced me. "And Ronald, this is my friend Lily."
Lily smiled, and we shook hands.
"It is nice to meet you," she said.
"The pleasure is mine," I replied. Erin, pulling me to sit next to her, clearly wanted me to stay with them.
"Ronald, Lily just told me about what Zoe does in the hospital."
