6 LUCAS “Dude,” Noah elbowed me, “they just came in through the double doors.” It hadn’t escaped my notice that they came in through the back doors. Getting access to the back meant she had ties to the owner. I tossed back my gin and tonic. “I see that.” “They’re also coming this way,” Aiden said, grabbing his drink. He stood and lifted his glass in the air. “Have fun. I’m out. I don’t want to be the fifth wheel. Catch you back at the hotel.” He nodded his head and smiled at Harper and Sarah in passing, before disappearing into the crowd. The women stopped at our table and my eyes couldn’t get enough of Sarah’s skin-tight black dress. Harper was beautiful, but couldn’t hold a candle to Sarah.
