The three days passed by in a blur. I didn’t want it to end, but I had to get back for the rehearsal. Not to mention, my brother was back in town. We were on our way back to civilization, when my phone beeped with a gazillion messages and missed calls.
Harper: Hope you’re having fun.
Cameron: Hey! Where are you? Olivia said you had an emergency. Are you with Rhett and not telling us?
Harper: Umm . . . so Olivia must’ve thought you were with Rhett, but he just showed up here with no clue as to where you are. Now he’s worried something’s wrong. Good luck when you get back. You have a lot of explaining to do. I at least told them you were okay, so they wouldn’t call the police.
