27 ASHLEY The rest of the week went by with no problems. It was now Saturday, which meant we could sleep in. I loved waking up in his arms. He snuggled up to my back and kissed my neck. “There’s somewhere I want to take you.” “Oh yeah?” I turned around and faced him. “Where?” He winked. “It’s a surprise. We’ll be back in plenty of time for your dad’s birthday dinner tomorrow.” I lifted up onto my elbow. “Do I need to pack a bag?” He nodded. “Nothing fancy.
