Plotting with Rogues?

Alarik POV “Where is the rest of the story Jessica?” I turn to see Jenasi leaning against the wall with an annoyed look. My mate glares at him but also looks confused. “There’s nothing more to tell?” She said it like a question instead of a fact not even she was sure if that was completely true. He growls at her but never moves from his spot on the wall. “Of course you only remember the part that makes my sister look as bad as you can without lying. Alarik fallow with me.” I stand to fallow watching as two female guards take my mate to the female side of the dungeon. That puts me at ease knowing she’s safer over there. We walk in silence to find Alora with Jacob, Rose, and Aloruxe there is about four hours before the fight. So makes sense she’s not preparing yet everyone stops and looks at us like they are trying to figure out a puzzle. “Sweet pea show Alarik your leg.” Alora looks horrified Jacob and Rose both growl at Jenasi I’m surprised he let Jacob get away with it. “I don’t care that people see it Jenasi but I’m not a damn clown that needs to be show cased.” Ever at her out burst she lifts up her pants and I see the claw marks running down her leg I have no Idea how I hadn’t noticed before. “It was from a rogue attack a few years back I was still young I swear it grows with me.” “That scar is from the very day your precious mate was telling you about.” I look at him confused she didn’t say anything about an attack. Just that Alora fed a rogue pretty unheard of with in packs but that’s no where near an attack. Alora jumped up growling so ferociously even I flinched. “That b***h has no right saying ANYTHING about-“ Jacob grabs her and holds her close comfortingly while shushing her. I’m shocked to see her out burst I didn’t think she had an angry bone in her body honestly. “She said you were feeding a rogue and plotting with it.” Everyone growls at me now except Jenasi who raised his hand to stop them. What the hell did I do? “Considering our age at the time Jessica truly did believe what she said is fact I could smell that is her truth as she spoke. But that’s why I wanted you to show him so we could tell him the full story but it’s only if you want to Alora.” She growled but nodded but I could see the hurt and anger in her eyes. “How much did she tell you.” “To sum it up you fed a rogue y’all fought and she got in trouble.” Alora’s face softened. “Then I did what Uncle Jack asked.” “That rogue Alora was feeding was our uncle he’s the one who kept us safe while went from what was once our pack lands to Marley’s. Marcus granted us permission to feed him because he wasn’t a rogue off of a crime but due to loyalty. Jack denied Marcus’ offer to join his pack because he vowed to our father he’d only ever fallow him and his blood line. As Jack wasn’t our uncle by blood but by bond. Marcus is a good man and didn’t want split the family more then he had to so he let jack stay close and would give him supplies to keep him as comfortable as possible.” “That day Jessica so called caught me he was telling me a story about our mom, dad, and him when they were kids. Jack wouldn’t intervene in pack matters no matter what kind he left when he sensed her approaching not wanting to scare a pup. He told me never get mad stay calm as he watched from the trees across the valley. He kept talking to me through the family link to make sure I didn’t loose my temper I had a pretty ugly one back in our pack. We had done a lot of work to help me control it.” “I had started watching her and Jessica from the distance Jack telling not to interfere because Alora wouldn’t always have me to keep her temper in check. Alora grabbed her and kept her from going back into the territory because I told her to hold her back for just a minute because I saw a rogue cross over the boarder trying to go attack them from the back so I ran across while Alora had Jess distracted.” “After my brother crossed and got the rogue far enough away my uncle told me I did amazing and to let her go. After she started running more rogues came out I fought off one but fighting wolves bigger than you is exhausting for an eight year old. So as my uncle started fighting to get me out I ran it was our routine when under attack it’s part of why I fought so well they taught me to hold my own as long as I can to give them time to help then run.” “I went to help our uncle fight the rogues swarmed him to fast he broke out of the crowd and threw me back into the territory telling me not to disobey my Alpha no matter the reason. So I ran to get warriors to help.” “My uncles last request before the rogues killed him was to do my best to get Jessy away and not let her see what was happening because no pup should have to witness that many rogues coming after her. That he loved me and would forever be so proud of me. A rogue had came over the border while my brother went to get help so I took them on. Knowing my uncle was going to die I was determined to give him his last wish. But the rogue I was up against was a new rogue you could tell because he was still clean and strong”
