Family reunion

" Come sweet pea Rose has missed you and wants your help to plane the new nursery."

I wave bye to everyone and give my family quick hugs. Once I got outside Jasper was growling at Jessy as his security threw her in the van ignoring her screams and please for mercy. I walk up to him and scratch behind his ear his mood instantly changing he starts sniffing me and rubbing against me I can't help but giggle. I got on his back and we took off the wind, was warm against my skin as we flew above the trees zooming past the van. He wants to beat them there so he can tell Rose what happened and have time with me before she goes to Jessy's cell. I love Rose but when she's dealing with... Traitors she's a whole new person even Alice her wolf is naturally sweet until she feels threatened then she's hell on wheels. Within a couple hours we are landing at the castle it'll still take the van three more hours I get off his back and turn around to stretch so he can shift back and get clothes on. Rose and Aloruxe come outside I go and grab him giving him a big hug. His little hands grabbing at my hair and getting tangled we all laugh as Jenasi helps detangle one hand while Rose gets the other hand free.

"Alora watch."

They put him on the floor and he started crawling. I can't help but start to cry he's gotten so big in the past month.

"That's it pup come to uncle Jake."

My brother's beta comes out trying to get Aloruxe but after he squats down Aloruxe turns around and speed crawls back to me while laughing. I pick him up once he gets to me tickling his tummy.

"Hey! Come on Buddy that's my lady! I'm supposed to be your favorite!"

He comes up giving me a big hug while kissing Aloruxe on the head. He takes him and puts him back down to run free while he grabs me spinning me around.

"I missed you my love."

"I missed you handsome."

Jacob was Jenasi's best friend in our old pack before it was destroyed. We've had feelings for each other for years but haven't done anything because we want to wait and see if we are mates.

"THAT b***h HAD A WHAT?!"

I flinch hearing Rose yell trying to hide into Jacobs neck. As he turns around to see what happened but Rose is already stomping over to us.

"Give me my sister in law Jacob!"

"No ma'am what the hell is going on."

"Alora when that b***h gets here you will kick her ass for real before she becomes my play thing. You will not let her get away with that!"

"Luna you know she doesn't like to fight"

I sigh into Jacob as I feel his body tense under me. My guess is Jenasi just mind linked him. I looked over the balcony seeing Jessy shaking as her and the security came out of the trees my guess Rose refused to wait a few hours and told them to get here now. I can see the bite marks on her arms and legs they prolly carried her by mouth. I flinch even thinking about how bad that hurt. Jacob kisses my cheek before putting me down. Rose hands him the book while tapping her foot at me while Jacob just gets more pissed with the more he reads. Now I know he ain't gonna take my side to try and get Jessy any kind of mercy. I let out a deep sigh today just isn't my day. I follow the group of angry royalty after picking up Aloruxe as we head down the stares I see the security push Jessy down making her face hit the floor I growled at them while everyone else was growling at her. Rose was the first to speak.You have made a grave mistake threatening the life of my sister in law you have no excuse for what you've done. The crime you have committed will not be forgiven you have one day to heal then you will face off with Alora before becoming a prisoner for the rest of your very limited life time."

Jenasi told the guards we would take her to the cells ourselves. I held out a hand to her and helped Jessy up Jake tried to trip her as we walked by I caught her and growled at him. He looked at me with confusion, love but also determination he wasn't gonna back down on making her life hell. Alongside everyone else who knows what happened.

"Can I ask you a question Alora?"

"What Jessy?"

"Why are you still being nice to me."

"Everyone does their own s**t it wasn't like you actually tried to kill me."

"But the book.."

"What about it my diary has details on how I'd kill all my brothers for stuff they've done hell even Jake is in it but they are mine to threaten I would never actually hurt them. If you were my sister it would've got chalked up to sibling love. It's all in circumstance." The rest of the walk was quiet once we finally hit the cells though it gets a little chaotic. As soon as we entered the dungeon a man slammed into the guards half shifting to not hurt himself on the chains and he started running at us. The guards tried to grab him but they were too slow. All the prisoners started screaming and trying to break out of their cells. One actually managed to break out but the guy running at us hit him and knocked him out i would've missed it if I had blinked. Jake grabs me and puts me behind him so fast I didn't even notice he had moved me. Then all I hear is just one word that makes my heart sink for Jessy even more.

"MATE. My mate."

I peak around Jake's broad shoulders. He grabs Jessy's arms and pulls her close growling at us. He's trying to protect her from them knowing he's only gonna make his situation worse. One of his eyes has scars all around it while his other eye is swollen shut he has scars everywhere. He's only in his boxers. I look at Jessy just to see her petrified expression locked on my brother and sister in law. I look at them and see why she's watching them. The looks on their faces are more than a little psychotic and very excited. The guards haven't moved I'm assuming they froze after my brother's face changed. The way Roses face mirrors his is creepier than their faces alone right now. I poke Jacobs side so he'd pay attention to me so I can get through his mind block.
