Chapter 25: Hurt

Riya's POV~

"Tell me...Do you know her before? How can she talk to you so freely that she knew you for a long time..?", I asked searching for the answers for my questions.

"About that..", he trailed looking at me.

"Huh?", I said.

"Actually...She is our.... family frie..nd yeah...family friend", he said.

"Family friend?", I asked.

"Yes..Anyway let's not talk about them", he said while pulling me to a hug. Suddenly, I felt something wet on my shoulder. I immediately broke the hug and saw tears are filled in Vicky's eyes. I was shocked. I immediately wiped the tears on his cheeks.

"Why are you crying?", I asked.

"Nothing", he said while caressing my cheek.

"You are the only one who is there for me..Don't leave me ever", he said while holding my hands tightly. I looked at him. I never saw him like this.

"I will always stay beside you", I said and placed my lips on his. He slowly and gently kissed me. Our bodies just got numb. Our hearts just communicating with each other. Our bodies melt in each other arms. Soon we break apart to breath properly. I panted heavily but his lips trailed to my neck. He softly placed kisses on my neck. He started sucking my sweet spot and I moaned in pleasure. My hands are in his hair massaging his scalp.

"Ahh...Vicky", I moaned and he continued sucking my collarbone. He looked into my eyes and caressed my cheek.

When he was about to place his lips on mine again my stomach growled in hunger. He immediately chuckled. I covered my face with my hands hiding from him. I turned around away from him.

What an embarrassment!!!

"Come...Let's go and eat, my little wife", he said while pulling me towards me. He removed my hands from my face. He placed a peck on my cheek. My face was red due to shyness.

"Yes..Let's go to home. We will make lunch together", I said.

"Let's make dinner together..Let's just eat lunch in any restaurant ", he said.

I thought for a minute..I don't want to face Ricky now. I just want to spend this weekend with him.

"Okay Let's go", I said.

"How about we go and eat panipuri?", I asked.

"We are not going to eat that street food. Health is important ", he said.

"Please!!", I pouted.

"Okay", he sighed.

"Yay!!", I said while getting up from the bed.

He also got up from the bed.

"Let's go", he said.

"Yes!", I said excitedly.

We both went out of the hotel. I started telling him the directions where I eat panipuri the most.

After sometime, we arrived and I immediately got off from the car. He started smiling looking at my silliness.

I stand in front of the uncle whose the owner of that food stall.

"Riya beti...How are you?", he asked smiling at me.

"I am good, uncle", I said smiling at me.

"You are not coming these days?", he asked being sad.

"Don't be sad uncle..I came now..", I said.

"Who is this, beta?", he asked while eyeing at Vicky with a death stare. I laughed at his concern. Vicky looked away being uncomfortable being in his stare.

"Uncle..Meet my husband..Vicky", I said while holding his hand.

"Riya..Beti...You got married! That's such a good news", he exclaimed. He came out of the stall and hugged Vicky tightly.

"Please treat our Riya well...She is such a good girl", he said while breaking the hug.

"Sure uncle", Vicky said being overwhelmed.

"Uncle..I am hungry...Come on..Give me your special panipuri ", I said excitedly.

Then we both eat panipuri and samosa. Vicky is clutching is stomach saying he is too full. I laughed at him. Finally I was full. I bid farewell to the uncle and we both went to the car. We both sat and he started the car.

We both started going to home. Soon we both reached home. After reaching home, I immediately get out and go to our room. I know Vicky is following me inside. Once I am inside and I sighed. I sat on the couch and Vicky sat on the bed.

I decided revise some topics. So I took my book from the study table and opened it. Vicky just laid down with his eyes closed. After reading for some time, I saw Vicky. I don't know but tears are leaving from his eyes but his eyes are still closed. I went near him. I slowly wiped the tears but he didn't move.

What is he thinking? Why are there tears in his eyes?

"Vicky..", I said in a low voice. He immediately jerked up.

"Are you okay? Why are you crying?", I asked while making him sit up and I hold his hands very tightly.

"Nothing", he said.

"What are you even saying? See your eyes", I said while wiping his tears from his cheeks.

He sniffed and looked away

"Actually, it's nothing. It's just that you are too handful", he said while pinching my cheeks playfully.

"Hey...", I said.

"So..Talk to me when you are angry...Talk to me when there is something bothering you...Don't just walk away", he said while cupping my face.

"I will..I promise I will never walk away and hold on to you like a koala", I said giggling. I hugged him. He hugged me. He placed a small kiss on my head. I smiled seeing his care.

"Vicky..You will also share everything with me right?", I asked while breaking the hug.

"Yes..I will n..not..hide anything", he said. I smiled.

"Okay..", I said and placed a peck on his cheek. He smiled.

"Okay..I will not disturb you..Go and study..I will be in my office..I have some work", he said. I nodded.

Then he went to his office. I sat on the couch.

"I never knew he is so sensitive ", I said to myself.

After studying, I realized that it is soon the dinner time. I thought of making dinner. I went downstairs to the kitchen. I decided to make Gobi paratha which is Vicky's favorite. I should make some curry. I saw that only potato is avaliable. Let's make aloo curry. I should ask maids to re stock grocery as well.

Soon I started making dinner. When I was making dinner, someone snapped their fingers at me.

"Make me a sandwich", Ricky's girlfriend said with an attitude.

"Make it yourself", I said while continuing my work.

"Do it when I say", Ricky's girlfriend raised her voice.

"I will not", I said with a calm voice.

"Bitch...How dare you argue with me?", she said while grabbing my wrist.

"Leave my hand", I said pissed.

"I won't..What will you do? Complain your husband?", she mocked.

"I am enough for you", I said while pinching her hand with my left hand and her grip gotten looser.

After that, I ignored her and done my work. She is glaring at me. Finally, she left. I sighed and continued my work. After the dinner preparation was done, I went upstairs to his study to call Vicky.

When I knocked, I heard a 'Come in'. I opened the door and saw Vicky is checking some file.

"Are you done?", I asked.

"Yeah...Almost", he said while looking at me.

"Okay...I will wait for you", I said while sitting on the couch.

After few minutes, I started looking around the study. There are many books on the shelf. Suddenly, I saw a book which I wanted to read for a long time but it is placed at the top shelf. I tried to reach it but I can't able to. Suddenly, I felt Vicky behind me. I saw Vicky's hand on my hand. He placed his one hand on my shoulder and used the other to pick the book from top shelf.

I turned around and he caged me between him and the shelf.

"Want this book?", he asked.

"Yes..", I said while trying to take the book.

"But I took the book", he smirked.

"Borrow it to me", I said.

"What will you do for me?", he said while pulling me in his arms. I gasped at his sudden action. He is looking at my eyes.

"What..what do you want?", I asked.

"Kiss me", he said in a low voice.

"Huh?", I said.

"You heard me right! Kiss me", he said in a deep voice. I shivered listening to it.

I slightly placed my lips on his. After few seconds, I pulled away from him.

"Done? Give me", I said while trying to take the book.

"It's peck not kiss", he argued. My cheeks are red by his bluntness.

"Okay..Leave it..Dinner is ready..Let's go downstairs ", I said pushing him but he gripped my waist tightly. He pulled my nape towards him. He placed his lips on mine and started kissing me passionately. He ran his fingers on my body sending shivers to my spine. He bit my lower lip slightly when I opened my mouth, he entered his tongue and tasted even corner of my mouth. After few minutes of kissing, I tapped his shoulder. He slowly pulled away panting. I panted heavily. He smiled looking at me. I instantly looked down being shy.

"Are you always this shy?", he asked while cupping my face.

"Let's go..Dinner is ready", I said changing the topic.

"Okay..Okay..Let's go", he said while handing the book. I took the book from his hand.

We both went downstairs. Vicky sat on the dining table. I placed the dishes on the table.

"Guess what I made?", I said being excited.

"What you made?", he smiled at me.

I sat beside him. I opened the dish cover and placed the Gobi paratha on his plate. His face lit up looking at it.

Then I put the aloo curry on the plate.

"Looks delicious", he said.

"Have it", I said while serving myself on the plate.

He took a bite and I looked at him nervously.

"How is it?", I asked nervously. He just looked at me emotionlessly. I was scared looking at him.

"Not good?!", I asked.

"It's super delicious...I love it!", he exclaimed.

"Thank God!! You scared me", I said.

Then we started eating and talking to each other.

"Riya!!", I heard a loud voice. I flinched at the voice. Vicky is puzzled hearing the voice. I saw Ricky and his girlfriend coming towards us.

"What's happening now?", I said to myself.

"Why didn't you make sandwich to her?", Ricky asked.

"I didn't want to", I said while eating my food.

"Look at me when you are talking to me", Ricky yelled.

"I don't want to", I ignored. I saw Vicky looking puzzled by all the argument.

"If you don't want to make it, then it's fine..but why did you scold her? Why did you abuse her?", Ricky yelled. I scoffed looking at her. She shrugged and pretending to be scared. She hid behind Ricky.

"I didn't scolded her or abused her", I said.

"Shut up...She will not lie to me", Ricky argued and she is smirking at me.

"I am not lying...She abused me..I didn't ", I said.

"You bitch...You better to do what she says", Ricky said while pointing his finger at me.

"I will not do that..I will never listen to you both", I said with a stern voice.

"You are standing in my house...You better be careful", Ricky said.

"This is my house too..I will speak what I want", I said in a calm voice.

"Huh? Your house? Do you really think like that? Your husband sitting here like a stone..He don't even care about you..What are you boasting yourself up?", Ricky stated those words. When Ricky said those words I looked, Vicky just looked at them and didn't utter a word. I sighed in pain.

"Your girlfriend may need you...But I am enough to deal with you both..", I said while leaving that place.

I just can't stand them at all. I went to the terrace. When I looked around I was reminded of all the sweet things which we did on the last night. I was suffocated when I remembered that. I immediately went towards the back yard. I sat on the grass while keeping my face on my knees.

"I don't why my tears are falling from my eyes. I thought atleast he would utter a word in defense but he just stood still. Does he even care? They both came at me....

What am I expecting? That he would support me..I don't think I should do all this...I should just mind my own business..I should be strong enough deal with all this..I will complete my graduation..and start my own business..I can't let all these things get my mind. I should just leave these things out...I don't let these guys destroy my future like this", I said to myself. I wiped my tears harshly. I will never beg anyone for anything.

I felt a hand on my shoulder. I immediately flinched and looked to see Vicky. I looked away. He sat beside me.

"Riya..Please listen to me", Vicky said.

"Yeah..tell me", I said. I wiped my tears and looked at him.

I really wanted to hear his explanation.

"Riya..I'm sorry...I don't even know what is happening around me...", Vicky said.

"Vicky...You don't even utter a word in my support..Are you serious?", I asked.

"It's just about whether you support me or not..It's clear that you don't..so let's not talk about this", I said while going in leaving him.

When I went inside, I saw Ricky and his girlfriend. I saw blood is coming out of his lips.

"Bitch...what did you say to Vicky that he punched Ricky? That he fought Ricky for the first time?", Ricky's girlfriend yelled at me.

I stood there shocked.

"Riya!! please listen to me...I really..", I heard Vicky's voice from behind. He glared at them.

"Come with me", he said while grabbing my hand and pulling to the stairs.

He dragged me to our room. He made enter first. He entered after me and closed the door.

"Riya...I really care for you", he said while cupping my face.

I just looked at him. Right now, I don't what to trust or what not to...I just don't know...
