Riya's POV~
When I was going into the college, I saw a person who is glaring at me. I gulped in fear.
I saw Rasi literally boring holes on my body with her eyes.
"Rasi..", I said in sweet voice.
"Let's talk later...First we should attend class", she said sternly.
I think I will be getting a huge lecture today from her. Although I tried to talk to her she didn't respond to me
After all the classes are completed, we both sat in our class room. All the students left.
"Now..Can you tell me what happened? Why didn't you come yesterday?", she asked while glaring at me.
"Actually..There are some things that happened ", I said and started telling about Vicky's past.
"Oh my!! How is Vicky?", she asked.
"He is fine now", I said.
"So yesterday...You both...", she trailed while teasing me.
"Hey...Don't tease me..", I said while looking down.
"It's common..Don't be shy", she said while smiling.
"I mean Everything happened so fast that I am feeling overwhelmed but Vicky assured me..So I was feeling better", I said.
"Oh..ho", she cooed while teasing me.
"Don't tease me..So what about my brother?", I asked.
She blushed.
"What about him?", she asked innocently.
"Don't pretend..I know something is going on", I said.
"Yes..I decided to give us a chance", she said.
"Wow!! really...", I exclaimed and hugged her.
"Okay..Let's go for lunch and I will tell you a good news", she said.
"What good news?", I said.
"Ah..Let's go canteen", she said and started running towards canteen.
"Hey..wait for me..", I said.
We both went and sat in the canteen. We both collected food and sat in the table.
"So what is the good news?", I asked curiously.
"I will be joining Singh Industries from tomorrow for internship", she exclaimed.
"Wow!!", I said and hugged her.
"I am really happy...Let's go together", I said and she nodded.
We both started eating and for afternoon we don't have any classes. I sighed in relief. I was happy that I can see Vicky now. Rasi went to her part time job.
The driver was waiting for me outside the college. I sat in the car.
Soon the car started and the driver dropped me in front of the company.
I entered the company and went to my floor eager to see Vicky.
"Vic-", I was about say but stopped when I saw an employee in his cabin.
"Ms.Riya...Knock the door", he said coldly while continuing his conversation with her.
"I am sorry sir", I said and went to my cabin. I saw her smiling at me mockingly.
I was embarrassed..I am angry..I stomped my feet while going to my cabin.
After sometime, I saw that girl coming outside of his cabin. She came to me while she smiles mockingly.
"Lost the face?", she said.
"Huh? What do you mean?", I asked her.
"You are young that does mean you will get what you want..He is mine..Don't get ahead of yourself", she said.
I was stunned to hear these words. What does she even think about herself?
"WHAT-", I was cut off when a heard a female voice from behind.
"Riya...Vikram sir is calling you", Sony said that.
"Don't go near him. He is mine", she said and went off.
I was baffled..I stood there and processed what is happening?
"Are you okay?", Sony asked me.
"I guess", I said in a low voice.
"You should be careful..She might make things difficult for you", Sony said.
"What do you mean?", I asked.
"Actually..Her father is also a investor in our company. I think she likes Vikram sir. She made it clear yesterday that no one should go near him. You are not there yesterday right?", Sony asked.
"Yeah!", I said.
"We can't offend her. She has many connections..", Sony said. I nodded.
"What is her name?", I asked.
"Her name is Ms.Makeup", she said. I giggled hearing it.
"What?", I asked.
"We decided that name..", she smiled.
"Okay..Now go...Vikram sir is calling you..for real now", she said as my landline of office started ringing.
"Huh? Vic- Sir didn't called me earlier?", I asked.
"No dear...I just wanted save you..So I made up an excuse", she giggled. I smiled at her.
"Thank you!", I said while lightly squeezing her hands.
"It's okay", Sony said.
"What's happening here?", we both heard a familiar voice. We turned around to saw Vikram.
Sony and I both nervously looked down.
"Done gossiping, Ms.Sony?", he asked with a raised eye brow.
"Sorry sir..but I was explaining what happened yesterday as Riya is not present yesterday", Sony said and I just looked at her with amazed face.
"Yes sir", I said nervously.
Is he really my husband? Morning he behaved like a sweet husband..Now he us acting like strict teacher...
"Get ready for the meeting. We need to go to conference room", he said and I just nodded in fear seeing his eyes which are only filled with strictness. Then he went off.
We both sighed in relief after he went off.
"We are saved", Sony sighed.
"Yes", I said.
"What is the meeting he is talking about?", I asked her.
"Oh..It is about the design progress. I think she will be there I guess", Sony said.
"Oh God!!", I said in frustration.
"Don't worry..Our designer team will be there", Sony said.
"Thanks ", I said.
"Okay....We need to go now..Grab your laptop ", she said.
"Okay", I said while grabbing my laptop and waiting for Vicky.
"Okay..Meet you at conference room", she said and winked at me.
I smiled and all the designer team waved their hands at me. I smiled and waved my hand.
"Ms.Riya..Are you ready?", Vicky asked.
They immediately went off when they saw Vicky.
"Yes sir", I said coldly.
He kept staring at me and I looked down. He sighed and started walking.
He don't even want to speak now! Wow! Okay I will also mind my business hmph!
We both reached the conference hall. Vicky entered first and I entered after him. When I saw her and I just avoided contact with her.
When everyone gets seated. I heard her saying, "So Mr.Singh..Can we start?", she asked.
"Sure..Ms.Neha", Vicky said.
Oh?! Her name is Neha!!
"Okay..Who will start first?", Vicky asked while looking at designers.
"Sir..Can I?", Rajeev asked.
"Sure", Vicky said. I smiled and mouthed 'good luck' to him. He smiled at me. Then he started presenting the design. I started taking minutes of the meeting.
After Rajeev, then Deeksha, then Sony and then Karan..Everyone completed their design presentation. There designs were good but Vicky said some pointers to improve the design. I was really in awe when he is giving feedback and encouraging them. I forgot that I was angry and started admiring him. Stupid me!!
After 2 hours the meeting came to conclusion. The designer team went off. I closed my laptop.
"It's nice to meet you, Mr.Singh", she said and was about to hug Vicky but he put a hand for handshake.
I stopped my smile with a high difficulty. She was embarrassed but shook his hand. I keep looking down to stop my smile.
"Nice to meet you too", Vicky said.
"Ms.Riya..Escort Ms.Neha to the elevator", Vicky said. I nodded.
"Thank you, Ms.Neha..We will meet you soon with the best designs", Vicky said in a professional tone.
"Sure Mr.Singh", she said and went outside and I followed her.
Thank God!! She didn't pulled any stunt again. After escorting her, I left to my cabin.
I saw designer team at the pantry. I waved at them. They asked me to join them. I went near them.
"Did Ms.Makeup said anything?", Karan asked.
"Thankfully, No", I said.
"Fine!! Such a b***h", Sony said.
"What are you guys doing?", I asked.
"Recharging ourselves", They said while pointing to their coffees.
"I think I should make a coffee for Vikram sir", I said while making him a coffee. They nodded.
"But you presentations are really good..I was amazed", I said. They smile and said thank you to me.
"Okay..Let's add you in our group.. What's say guys?", Sony asked.
"Sure!!", All said in one go. I smiled looking at their silliness.
They added me in their group.
"Okay guys..I will be going now", I said while taking a coffee to Vicky. They smiled and nodded.
They also started going back to their works. I took a deep breath and knocked the door. When I heard the 'come in' I opened and entered the room.
He sat on the chair looking at a file. I went near the table and placed a coffee.
"Sir, Your coffee", I said.
"Ms.Riya..I need the minutes of meeting in next 20 minutes", he said.
"Sure sir ", I said and went off.
I started fairing up the minutes and sent him the file through email. After that, I started working on the project. I didn't how much time passed but I suddenly heard a knock.
I saw the same girl who came from HR department the other day. Her name is...Isha.
"Hii Isha", I said.
"Hey Riya..You remembered me", she asked.
"Of course", I said.
"I know it's late but Can you ask Vikram sir for the signature on this document? It's urgent", she said.
"Okay sure", I said.
"What is this about?", I asked.
"Budget regarding the training of staff", she said.
"Okay..What is the time?", I asked while looking at the clock.
"Oh my!! It's 6 already!", I said.
"Yeah!", she said.
"Let me try..I am not sure", I said.
"Yeah..it's okay..Tomorrow I can collect it", she said.
"Okay..Let me inform him", I said.
"Thanks Riya..Bye", she said.
"Yeah..it's okay", I said.
I went near his cabin and knocked the door. I heard "come in". I entered and placed a file on the table.
"Sir..It's budget file for training purposes for resources", I said.
"Okay..I will check it later", he said.
"Let's go home", he said.
"What are you saying sir? I am going home with my husband", I said sarcastically.
He smirked at my words.
"You can come with me for today", he said playing along.
"I politely decline", I said and went off.
I packed my stuff and all the designer team is infront of me.
"Riya..Let's go for a restaurant", they said.
"N- ", I was about to say No but stopped myself.
Why? Why I have to stop? He insulted me first..Hmph
"Yes..Let's go", I said.
But alteast I should message. I can't be irresponsible. So I messaged him that I'm going out for dinner with designer team. I kept my phone in silent and went with them.
We all went for dinner. They all teased each other, ate so much food. I laughed and really forgot to keep the track of time.
When I noticed the time was 10:30 at the night, I gasped. I immediately took my phone to see so many missed calls of Vicky, mom and even Dad. I gulped in fear.
"Guys..I should leave..", I said in a hurry.
"Riya yaar..Stay for some time", Sony whined.
"Next time for sure..Everyone at home are worried for me", I said.
"Okay bye!!", all said in a voice and smiled. I smiled at them and went off.
I took a cab and went to home. I gulped when I was at the entrance of home. At far, I can see everyone in the hall. I gulped in fear.
I saw the time it was 11:30pm. I slowly entered the home. I saw both Mom and Dad stood up and Vicky just stood still seeing me.
"Riya..What is this beta? We were worried", Mom said in a slightly anger tone.
"Sorry mom", I said in a low voice.
"It's 11:30 now..You shouldn't be out like that", Mom said.
"I will be more careful mom", I said while looking down.
"Okay..From tomorrow..All of you must be home by 8..No more arguments ", Dad said in a stern voice.
"Sorry Dad", I said.
"It's okay dear..But no more staying out this late", he said.
"Okay dad", I said. Mom still looked disappointed.
"Mom", I said and but she went off. Tears left when mom didn't speak to me.
"It's okay ..she is just worried about you", Dad said while patting my shoulder and he went off.
I saw Vicky standing with a stern expression. He started moving upstairs and I followed him.
Ah?! What should I do? He looks angry....How I should persuade mom? How I should I explain her? What should I tell him? I think I stuck in a big problem
