Riya's POV~
I just arranged his schedule for tomorrow and it's done. I can leave now. I should study the missing topics which were left.
I went out and hailed a cab to Singh mansion. I entered the mansion and I saw mom sitting in the living room.
"Riya...You came", she asked with a smile.
"Yes mom..Good evening", I said and sat beside her.
"Where is Vicky? Didn't he come with you?", she asked.
"Actually he went somewhere", I said.
"Okay..Freshen up yourself...You must be tired", she said.
"Okay mom...I will be going to my room", I said and starting going upstairs.
Yes! Don't react for anything! Just hold put for six months..He just nobody...Why is he affecting you so much? Just stop thinking about him...I said to myself. Focus on your studies...I should be getting focusing on my study.
I went to my room and freshened up myself. I wore a night pyajamas. I sat on the couch and started reading. Suddenly I heard my phone ringing.
"Hello", I said as Rasi is calling me.
"You don't believe what's happening here?", I heard from the other side.
"What happened?", I asked.
"Vicky is with one girl in our cafe", she said.
"I know..", I said in a flat tone.
"What? You know? and You don't do anything about it...Are you for real?", she asked in a shock.
"What can I do about it? He already has a girlfriend..and I know it before marriage...and you know how our marriage occured", I said.
"I know..but the girl is crying and he looks angry", she said.
"Stop it..Don't interfere in anything", I said.
"Okay", she said.
"Bye", I said.
"Bye", she said.
After this call, all my thinking went to him again. What the heck? Why is affecting me so much?
I don't know when I slept but woke up when I heard someone calling me. I opened my eyes to see Vicky waking me up.
"Riya...Are you awake now?", he asked.
"Yes", I said while yawning.
"Well...Mom is calling for dinner", he said.
"Come downstairs", he said while going out of the room.
I didn't even reply and he went off.
I saw myself in the mirror and went to downstairs.
I went downstairs to the dining table and saw Dad, mom and Vicky sat down and waiting for me.
"Sorry...I'm late", I said in a low voice.
"It's okay, beta...You're tired", mom said while serving dad. She looked at me.
Doesn't she know..how he will react? But anyway, I don't care about him...I care about his parents.
I started serving for Vicky and he didn't said anything. My eyes widened when he said, "Thank you".
"You are welcome", I said.
I served myself and sat down.
"Riya...How is work, dear?", dad asked.
"Yes dad....It's good ", I said.
"Great then", he said while smiling at me. I returned the smile to him. I saw Vicky is just eating and not uttering a word.
Why can't he tell me that he went to meet his girlfriend? Why can't he tell me?
I don't know when I started to stare him too much.
"Riya...You can stare him later...but eat your food now ", Mom said while laughing at me. Vicky and I choked on food. Dad also laughed at me.
My face turned red.
"It's not like that...Actually..", I tried to speak but I didn't get to speak anything.
"Don't tease her", dad said playfully. Vicky just looked at me, "Mom...I'm done..I will be going now", he said and went upstairs.
"What happened to him?", mom asked.
We soon finish dinner. Mom and I cleared the table.
When I was about to go the room, "Riya..", mom called me.
"Yes mom", I said.
"Riya...You can see that Vicky is changing for you...Can you please give this marriage a chance?", she asked me.
"I looked at her..Mom I used to like Ricky but he left me..I'm still not sure about to be in relationship yet..", I said while looking at her.
"But I will try to understand and be good from my end", I said while looking at her.
"Thank you dear...Thank you...I will support you...Vicky will definitely understand your heart", she said while placing a small peck on my forehead.
"Okay...Go to your room..Sleep early", she said.
"Okay mom...Good night", I said.
After that, I went to my room. When I entered the room, I saw Vicky sitting on the edge of the bed and thinking deeply.
He is thinking about his girlfriend...I guess...Mom thinks Vicky and I have a chance but he loves her...I just can't break them apart. What am I even thinking? I don't know what to do with my life...I neither hate him nor like him.. Why he turned my life into a mess? Why did he?
I sighed angrily and sat on the couch.
"Riya ", I heard his voice.
"Yes", I said while lazily looking at my phone.
"Look at me when you speak with me", he said.
"What do you want to say? I'm tired and want to sleep", I said.
"What the f**k? Give my phone back?" I yelled when he snatched my phone from my hand.
"Mind your language", he said.
"Why? I will swear what you will do", I said while looking at him.
"Riya...Please listen to me..", he said.
"Yes...Tell me..", I said.
"That..That...", he stuttered.
"What?", I asked and he was silent.
"If you don't want to speak then I am sleeping...Don't disturb me..Give my phone back",I said while snatching my phone back from him.
"Riya...Listen to me..Actually I wanted to say that...", he started speaking.
"Say what?", I said in a low voice.
"I want to give this marriage a chance", he said and my eyes widened when he said that.
I didn't know what to tell...I didn't know what to say?
"What did you say?", I asked.
"Yes..You heard it right...I want to give this marriage a chance", he said.
"You've got to be kidding me.." , I said while laughing at him.
"Riya...I'm serious ", he said while grabbing my shoulders.
"Stop thinking I'm a fool..Your brother first cheated on me..And now you also want to lie and cheat me...Do you really have to do this with me?" , I shouted at him with anger and pushed him away from him.
"Riya...What do you mean? I am lying..When?", he asked.
"Don't pretend in front of me..I will never trust you", I said while going towards the couch.
"Riya..Please I didn't even lie to you...Do you even know what I'm saying?", he said.
"I said don't pretend in front of me....", I said again.
"No...let's talk about it..I didn't do anything wrong...", he said confidently.
"You really do think I'm dumb..I will never let you or anyone play with me again", I said angrily.
He kneeled in front of me and hold my hands.
"Riya..Please...I am not playing with you..I am really serious with you", he said while looking at me.
By seeing his eyes unwavering...If I didn't know he met his girlfriend today then I would have believed him...How pathetic? How dumb of me?
"Still you are lying to me...You want me to say it with my mouth right? Okay...I will tell you", I said while standing and removed his hands from mine. I sighed angrily
"Today you left work early...Where were you in the evening? Who are you with?", I asked and his face immediately went pale listening to my questions. He took a step back in shock.
"Tell me..You want to give this marriage a chance right? Tell me who are you with today evening?", I asked him.
"Riya..", He said in a low voice.
"Want me to tell you", I asked.
I asked him but suddenly my phone started to ring...
"Rasi...Not now", I said while looking at the phone.
"Rasi.." , he said. He looked at me with shock.
"If you dare to answer this question...", I was cut off in the middle..
"Riya..Please don't answer the call", he said.
"You don't have any right to tell me what to do or not...Leave me alone", I said.
"Riya...Please..Don't..", he said while taking my phone. I slide the answer button and my phone fell down and it's screen got cracked.
"Riya..Are you there?", Rasi asked.
"Rasi...No...way...", Vicky yelled.
"Vicky...You are there", Rasi asked.
Why is she taking with him so nicely?
He took the broken phone and started to cut the call. But as the screen broke it was not working.
I snatched the phone from his hand and went to washroom to hear what was Rasi saying?
"Riya...I beg you...Please cut the call...Don't listen to her....", He said banging the door.
