Chapter 16: I can't barge

Riya's POV~

"Riya...One minute..Do you even know your husband except his name? Do you even know what tomorrow is? Where is he going tomorrow?", Ricky asked while smirking at Vicky.

"Where he will be going? He will be coming to office", I said while losing temper.

"What happened big brother? You didn't tell her about this..", Ricky asked.

"Want me to tell her", Ricky smirked. Vicky punched him on the stomach.

"Shut up", Vicky said.

"Vicky...You can't do this", Ricky's girlfriend said.

How is she talking so freely with Vicky? Does she know him? How can she know him?

"I am not in the state to learn from you", Vicky said and dragged me away from them.

"Does she know that you are an murderer", Ricky said while placing his hand on Vicky's shoulder.

"What?", I asked and we both stop in our tracks. Vicky's grip on my hand went slightly loose. I looked at him..He is just looking at him.

"Ricky..Stop with your nonsense ", I said while going near him.

"I don't think you should spout nonsense..about your brother", I said.

"So...Stop it", I said while glaring at him.

I just went near Vicky and wiped his tears that are flowing from his eyes. I caressed his cheeks.

"I believe you" , I said while holding his hand.

"Riya....I..", I heard his broken voice.

"Shhh.. Don't explain anything...", I said while keeping my finger on his lips.

His eyes are still filled with tears.

I looked at Ricky and said, "Don't mess with us", I screamed at him.

"Bitch...First ask him where he will go tomorrow? Then you can talk to me", he also said in a high voice and went off while smirking at Vicky.

I know I have many questions for Vicky. I think it's really not a good time to ask him such questions. He is not in a state to be questioned..I just want to lift up his mood now.

"Vicky...Let's go to home now", I said while looking at him.

"There is whole media outside", he said in a low voice.

I looked around and smirked at him.

"What are you upto?", he asked me.

"Follow me", I said.

"I saw a staff room at the corner. Let's wear those clothes and escape from here", I said while dragging him to the room.

"What?", he said dumbfounded.

"What? Let's go", I said and we both entered the staff room.

I saw the male and female outfits hanging on the wall.

"Take this", I said while handing him the outfit.

"Change yourself ", I said and I went towards a restroom.

"I will change in restroom", I said and went inside.

When I changed and opened the door, Vicky already got changed.

"Let's go", I said.

"You can take the cap", I said while giving him the cap.

"What about you?", he asked.

"I have mask", I said.

"Why did you bring a mask?", he asked.

"It's my habit", I said.

"Oh", he said.

"Wait...What about our outfits?", I asked.

"I asked my friend to take care of these", Vicky said.

"Great!", I chirped in happiness.

"Let's go now", I said and he just nodded.

When we both went outside. The media was just doing there work..ignoring us. Taking this as a cue we both walked a little faster and come out of the venue.

"Let's go to the car", Vicky said.

"Wait..I don't want to go home yet...Let's just talk a walk...Let's tale some fresh air", I said.

"Ahh.. I don't have mood to walk now", he whined.

"That's why I want to lift up your mood..Let's go", I said excitedly and he just gave me a small smile.

After walking some distance, I saw a exhibition.

"Wow!!", I was about to go that direction. My eyes brightened when I hear the noise around me.

"Stop..we are not going there", he said..

"Why?", I whined.

"We can't go to place like this", he said.

"Don't come then", I said and was walking towards the exhibition.

It's just a small exhibition in a park. There various stalls for food, games arranged at one place. There are families who are enjoying themselves. I smiled looking at them.

"Riya...Let's go", Vicky said while holding my hand.

"No...you come with me", I said and dragged him with me.

"See...that panipuri...It will be very tasty", I said as my mouth was watering.

"I think it's not hygienic " , he said.

He said it bot loud. Everybody listened and glared at him.

"Vicky...Stop it", I said while pinching his arm.

"Bhai(Brother) one plate panipuri", I said. Vicky just looking at the surroundings.

He started making and serving the panipuri in my plate. I took one panipuri in my hand.

"Vicky", I called him.

"Yes?", he said while looking at me.

Without wasting any other second, I kept panipuri in his mouth. He startled first and about to throw up but I put my hands on his mouth.

"Eat it", I said and after eating his expression changed from boring to surprise. He looked at me with surprise.

"How is it?", I asked.

"It's..Strange..", he said.

"Strange?", I asked with a question mark face.

"It's strange that it's good", he said. I laughed looking at him.

"Bhai(Brother) We want another plate", I said.

He started eating happily. I was looking at him and eating.

"Wow..It's delicious ", he said.

"Don't tell me you didn't taste it once?", I asked him while playing the money to that owner.

"No..It was my first time eating it", he said.

"Oh God!! I don't believe this", I said while getting shocked by his revelation.

"Let's go!", I dragged him to a game stall. We need throw the rings. If the ring landed on the placed things then the thing will be given to us for free.

"Let's play this...It will be fun", I said while standing near the counter.

"Uncle...10 rings", I said and paid money for that.

"Childhish!", He muttered and I listened to him. I pouted angrily.

I took the rings and stand on my place. I started to throw the rings on a teddy bear which looked too cute but rings are not falling on that teddy bear.

"Ah!! I want that teddy bear", I whined while trying.

"There are only 3 rings left", I whined.

"Give me..I will try it", Vicky said.

"You wanna try?", I asked.

"I thought you think this is childhish", I said with a pout.

"Don't sulk now..Come on..I will try", he said.

"Okay", I said while giving the last three to him.

I looked at him. He first throwed the ring then I looked at the ring nervously.

First It got on the teddy bear I wanted then it got slipped and then the ring got on bangles.

The shopkeeper gave me bangles to me.

"Wow!! See this...There are very nice", I said while showing him.

He throwed another ring, it went on the chocolate. The shopkeeper gave me chocolate too. I opened the chocolate and placed a piece in my mouth.

"Wow...It's very delicious", I said and kept a piece of chocolate in front of his mouth.

He slowly opened his mouth and eat it.

"Vicky..I want that teddy bear", I said.

Then the throwed the last ring and it got stuck on the teddy bear. My eyes widened when I saw that.

"Ah!!", I screamed in shock.

"Yay!!", I screamed in happinesss and hug him.

"We got it..Yay!!", I screamed and hug him tight.

"Okay...Relax", he said while placing his hands on my head. He caressed my hair. When I was realized I hugged him, I broke the hug awkwardly.

The shopkeeper gave me the teddy bear. It looked so good.

"Thank you!", I said while looking at him.

"Let's go!", I said while going to the another game stall.

We both played games and laughed. We also made bet that whoever loses must get a finger flick on forehead by the winner.

I won the game.

"Are you ready for the finger flick?", I asked while rubbing my fingers.

"What? I am your husband..you can't do this to me", he said while walking away.

"Hey..It's not fair", I said while walking behind him.

"Ahh...Vicky...", I yelped in pain while looking my leg.

"What happened? ", he turned around and bend to look at my leg.

I finger flicked his forehead quickly.

"Yay...I won", I said while laughing at him.

"You..", he said.

I started running away from him. I laughed when he also started to run behind me.

"Catch me if you can", I said while running looking him.

"Stop..Riya..", he said while running behind.

"I won't stop..", I said.

"Riya..Stop", he said.

I turned around look at him.

"Catch me if you can", I said while running while facing him. I laughed looking at him.

"Riya!!!", he screamed out of nowhere.

I stopped at my place and looking at him.

"Move!! Car is coming!", he said screamed and turned around to look a car. I was frozen on my spot. Nothing came in my mind.

"Ahh!!", I screamed when I feel someone pulled me away.

I saw Vicky pulled me and we both fell down.

"Ahh!!", I screamed. I was on top of him.

I immediately get up from him. He looked pissed.

"Are...you..", I was cut off in the middle by his shout.

"Shut the f**k up", Vicky yelled.

"Are you a kid? How can you run on a road? What if something happen to you like her?", he yelled in frustration.

"Ahh!!", he screamed while running fingers in his hair.

He started waking away. I was afraid when I looked at him walking away.

I backlogged him tightly. I cried while saying, "Sorry...", in a low voice.

"Leave me!", he said but I hugged him tightly.

"I..won't....Don't leave me...", I cried and slowly he turned around. We both fell apart. I looked at his eyes which are red. His tears will come out at any minute.

"I will be careful from now on", I said in a low voice while looking at him sincerely.

He hugged me tightly. I cried on his embrace.

"I don't want to lose anyone again", he said in a low voice.

"I'm sorry", I said again. He caressed my head.

After hugging for while, we fell apart.

"Let's go home", he said and I just nodded.

The whole ride was silent. I just steal some glances of him.

I don't know how to react? He looks so strong from outside but he is so fragile. I just can't understand all he is doing because he feel responsible for me or he has feelings for me..

"Riya...We arrived", I heard his voice.

"Oh yes!", I said while getting out of the car.

We both went in and saw the tensed faces of mom and dad.

"What is going on? What is Ricky doing in that party? ", Dad asked.

"Riya..Ate you okay?", Mom asked while making me sit on the sofa.

"Yes mom..I am fine", I said.

"Vicky...What's going on?", Dad asked.

"I don't know", he said and went off to upstairs.

I looked at him. I wonder why is he behaving weirdly today?

"Oh my goodness!!", Dad sighed in anger.

I don't know what happened between these brothers..but I guess it's not a small thing. I don't what to ask and what not to ask.

"Mom..I will go to my room", I said in a low voice.

"Sure..It's late already..Get some rest", mom said and I just went upstairs to my room.

When I entered the room, I saw Vicky freshened up and taking his car key.

"I'm going out..", he said and was going out.

I hold his hand. He turned around and looked at me.

"Where are you going?", I asked him.

"Somewhere..I have to go", he said. I sighed when I didn't get the answer from him.

"When will you come?", I asked while looking down.

"After 2 days", he said.

"What?", I asked.

He is going for 2 days. Where? Why? for what?

"I will come soon", he said while removing my hand from his hand.

"Can I come with you?", I asked.

"No...You can't ", he said.

"Anyway...I'm going...Take some rest", he said while leaving me alone in the room.

Wait!! Ricky knows he will go somewhere tomorrow...He also asked me if I know what is tomorrow?

I went outside of the room following him.

"Vicky...Vicky ", I called and he stopped.

"Where are you going?", I asked again.

"I need to go", he said while going away.

I followed him through stairs calling him but he is not responding to me at all. I saw Mom and dad looking at us.

"Vicky!!", I yelled.

"Stop", I yelled. He finally stopped looking at me with anger.

"Riya...What happened?", Mom asked.

"Where are you going this late?", I asked while my tears are falling because of his indifference.

"Stop asking me the same question..I just said I will be going for 2 days...It's not a big deal", he said in a irritated voice.

"Do you think it's normal? You don't have any schedules of business trips..so it's not about work..So for what? where are you going? Is this question that hard to answer?", I asked him while tears are falling from my eyes.

"Riya...Calm down..He will be coming back in 2 days", dad said.

"So you both know where is he going?", I asked looking at them. They both looked down avoiding eye contact with me.

"Why can't I know?", I asked while looking at them.

"Riya...Stop your questions and get some rest", Vicky said while going away.

I took a vase and broke it with a force. Everybody flinched at the noise. He turned around and looked at me.

"Riya..Stop with you childhish acts...Behave yourself ", he said while grabbing my wrist tightly.

"Even Ricky knows..where are you going? Don't I deserve it?", I asked him with tears.

"Riya!!", he said with a low voice which reflected his helplessness.

Mom and Dad just stood and didn't involve in our fight.

He hugged me tightly but I didn't hug him.

"Riya..Soon I will tell you..", he said while going away.

I looked at him speechlessly. He started going out

"Okay...I got it...I can't barge in your life...I shouldn't question you...Be ready for the divorce when you come back", I yelled in anger. He stopped in his tracks when he listened to me.

He turned and walking dangerously towards me.

"Riya...What are you saying dear?", mom said while panicking.

"Beta..don't make decisions in anger", dad said.

"What did you say?", he asked.

"I said exactly what you heard! I will divorce you in 2 days", I said.

"Say that again!", he said while grabbing my jaw tightly.

"Leave me..", I said while trying to remove his hand.

Suddenly, I heard a slap sound. I saw Dad slapped Vicky. He grip on my jaw loosened a little.

"Is this how you behave with your wife?", Dad yelled. Vicky just looked down.

"You....Come with me", he said while dragging me with him.

"Vicky!!", Dad and mom yelled when he was dragging me along with him.

"It's between us..We both will solve it", he yelled.

He opened the car door and throw me in the passenger seat.
