Chapter 6: You talk too much

Riya's POV~

"What do you want now?", I asked while trying to remove his strong grip from my hands. He looked really pissed.

"Leave me!", I said while wriggling my hands.

He throwed me on the bed and hovered above me.

"Hey...Vicky..What...What are you doing?", I said in a tensed manner as I don't know what is going on in his mind.

He looked at my eyes and clutched my two hands with his hands.

"Leave me...What do you want now? Because of you my mom and dad slapped me..I didn't done any mistake but I was scolded..All this happened because of you..You made my life hell as you said", I said while tears are continuously falling from my eyes. My eyes are getting blurry.

"Leave me hands...They are really hurting", I yelped in pain. He slowly lossened the grip. I wiped my tears and can see clearly.

"I...am...sorry", he said while looking at me. There is no sound..but I can able to interpret the words by his lips pronunciation.

"What did you say?", I asked him again. He rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"I am sorry", he just said there was no sound but I lip readed him.

This arrogant man said sorry to me. Oh my God!

He immediately get up above me and went to the bathroom.

"Hey..What did you say? I didn't get you", I said while thinking to tease him but he didn't respond as I think he knows my plan. He decided not to give in.

I immediately went downstairs to the kitchen. I asked the maid to cook the breakfast. I don't want to cook at all because of this accident. I just started arranging dining table.

"Riya..Why are you doing this? Maids will be handling it", mom said.

"It's okay, mom", I said while arranging it.

"Mom..Actually I want to ask you something", I said while looking at her.

"Yes..Tell me", she said smiling at me.

"Mom..Did you asked anyone to remove the cameras..?", I said in a low voice.

"Yes...beta...The cameras are removed before only", she said.

"Thanks mom", I said.

"No beta..We are sorry that we didn't give you guys privacy", she said.

"No mom..Please don't think like that", I said while smiling at her.

She sighed in relief.

Soon Vicky's dad and Vicky came to dining table. Maids placed the dishes on the table. Vicky's dad sit on the main chair. To his left Vicky sat on the other chair. To his right Mom sat. I sat beside mom. Vicky was in front of me.

Vicky wore the casual clothes. I guess he is not going to university I guess. How can he go? Professor who doesn't have voice? I giggled thinking about that..

"Vicky...Take this ginger soup first...It will heal your throat", mom said while handing him a bitter ginger juice. I was looking at him.

"Mom..I don't want to drink this", he moved his lips.

"Mom...I don't want to drink this", I said what he said.

Both mom and dad looked at me in surprise.

"He said that", I said while pinting him.

"No..you have to drink that", his mom forced him to drink that juice.

"Don't be afraid, it doesn't taste that bitter than your words ", I said while eating my breakfast. His parents looked at me with shock.

"You better not mess with me", he said looking really pissed.

"What will you do?", I asked him.

"Ah!!", Vicky yelled in frustration.

While eating, there was awkward silence nobody is talking anything.

"Riya..What's your plan for future?", dad asked me.

Divorce ofcourse...I want to leave your damn son..as soon as possible..but I can't bear to hurt them. They were nothing but kind to me.

"I was thinking of doing internship as it's my last sem in college. I want to continue my college as well from tomorrow", I said.

"Great!! You can go to college and it's better if you can do internship in Singh industries", he said.

"Dad..What are you saying? We have higher standards in selecting our staffs", Vicky said and I glared at him.

"I think that's not appropriate, dad", I said.

"Don't mind anything..You are coming to office from tomorrow", Dad said.

"Yes..but Dad..I will apply to the position I want and I start from scratch..I will get experience as well", I said while smiling.

"As you wish,beta", he said and smiling at me.

Vicky looked at me with a shock expression. I just ignored him.

Why did he change overnight? What exactly happened?

Why does it matter to me? Why I should think about him? I should concentrate on my study...I will leave in six months

After the breakfast is completed, I went to our room and messaged bestie Rasi.

I hope she likes Rahul bhai..They make a good pair...I smiled thinking about them.

When I was in my thinking section, Suddenly I flinched at the sound of the door.

"What the hell?", I said in a startled voice.

I saw Vicky coming in and closed the door. He hold my shoulders tightly.

"What? What now?", I asked looking at him.

"Tell dad that you will not be joining office tomorrow", he said and lip read him.

"Why? Why I should do that?", I asked.

"Because I can't trust you", he said while glaring at me.

"Before..I lose my patience..just don't join my company", he said.

"Your company? Don't make laugh", I said while laughing at me.

"Being a elder son in Singh family...You are just a professor..This company is developed by your dad and your brother...Don't take too much credit", I said sarcastically.

"You talk too much", I scoffed saracstically."..Don't..you dare...How can you say that to me? What do you know about me?", he said and I lip read him.

"Exactly...What do you know about me then? How can you tell me where to join or not?", I said and he went silent.

"I will apply and do the while interview process...If I didn't get in by my qualifications...Then I will not join the company...", I said while looking at him.

"Now leave me..", I said and went to terrace. Tears are started falling from my eyes thinking about my fate.

"Riya..What happe..", I saw mom but I just went to terrace while hiding my tears.

What the hell does he think of himself? What does he know about me? Oh God!! I think I will die with frustration soon

After sometime, I calmed myself saying, Just six months...Hold tight for just six months...

"Riya...", I heard a familiar voice. I immediately wiped my tears and turned around smiling.

"Yes mom", I said while trying not make anything obvious.

"Riya..",she said and sat beside me. She helped me put my head on her lap. She started caressing my hair. Unknowingly, my tears started falling again. I immediately wiped my tears.

"I know it will be hard to adjust for you..We are sorry for you, beta", she said while caressing my hair softly.

"Mom..Please don't say that", I said.

"I know..It's been unfair for you..We all did unfair for you..", she said and just squeezed her hand to not say anything like that again.

"You can live freely, beta..It's your house..If you don't want to bear anymore..I will not force you..", she said and I immediately rise myself and look at her in shock.

"But I hope you can give this marriage a chance. Vicky is really a good son, good brother..", she said but cut her off by saying.."But he is not a good husband to me..because he doesn't love me..He will be good husband to his loved one", I said and she just looked down.

"Mom..I just want to be transparent with you..You know..How our relationship has been? It's been just 3 days of our marriage..I don't see any future for us", I said and her eyes filled with tears.

"Mom..You don't need to be sad....I'm sure you will be getting daughter in law soon", I said and she looked at me.

"Ricky's girlfriend", I said and she sighed deeply.

"So don't worry...You can spoil her as you want ....But don't spoil me..As I don't have any right..", I said.

"But you will be not there...I want you as my daughter in law", she said.

"But I can't..And I know you don't want any of our sons to be in loveless marriage..", I said and she caressed my cheek lovingly.

"So..Don't worry...I will leave soon..but not tomorrow...If you will call me...I will definitely come to spend my time with you...

We can go to Cafe, restaurants, spas..and enjoy together..", I said while smiling. She also smiled with me.

"But...I want.." , she tried to say something but I just cut her again and said, "Mom..Please..", I said while showing my puppy eyes.

She sighed again...

"As I said..I promise I won't force you for anything", she said and I smiled again.

"Thank you, mom...You are the only one who understood me..Thank you", I said while hugging her.

"Of course...You are my daughter", she said and I smiled.

But they didn't know someone was listening to the whole conversation silently and went off.
