Abigale and Dani fight their way back to the book shop, defeating every heartless that gets in their way. As soon as they reached the safety of the book shop, Dani plopped onto the nearest arm chair. “What do you mean she’s dangerous?” Asked Dani. Abigale sat in the chair across from Dani, “Dani, Victoria is a witch, she has been trying to take control of this town for ages, but she hasn’t been able to because I’ve been keeping the heartlesses in check.” Dani frowned, “you know she said the tower was built by her father and that the townsfolk took it from him.” Abigale shifted in her seat, “that’s true, but, if the townsfolk hadn’t, there will not be a Traverse Town.” Dani stood up, “Victoria was right, all of you are selfish people.” Abigale grabbed Dani’s hand, “Dani snap out of it don’t let her lies get in between the mission.” Dani shook off Abigale’s hold and started walking towards the door, “you don’t have to worry about the mission I’ll fix it and return Victoria’s home.” Abigale worriedly watched Dani leave towards Gizmo Tower knowing perfectly well that Dani was being tricked. Victoria watched from outside, laughing at the scene. “Awww, poor Abby, whatever should you do?” Victoria says mockingly, “soon everything will be mine.” As Dani stormed the streets, mad at Abigale for not telling her the whole story of the tower. “Why did she not tell me? What does she mean Victoria’s a witch?” Dani questioned herself not sure who to believe. As Dani walked into the Second District, the sight of the tower looming above her seemed almost unreal. Dani began walking to every gate, to every door to try to get inside but it was no use, the whole tower was locked. “How am I supposed to get inside?” Dani thought to herself. By this time it started to rain heavily and Dani was getting soaked looking for a way inside. The tower suddenly chimed signaling another swarm of heartlesses. “Awww, great, just what I need,”Dani whined. As Dani was preparing to fight another swarm, she realized something about the tower. Running to the ally, Dani, spots a ladder on the side of the tower, it was about four feet off the ground just out of Dani’s reach. Dani scurried on top of some crates and jumped to reach the ladder to one of the out side doors. In the meantime, Abigale watches from a distance, Dani’s determination. “Are you sure about this? Asked Emmy as she stood by Abigale, “letting her do this will hurt her.” Letting out a sigh, Abigale says, “I’m perfectly aware of the consequences, but something’s are best learned first hand.” Emmy and Abigale continue to watch, preparing to jump in when needed. Upon reaching the door, Dani pushed with all her might expecting an army of Heartless to be waiting, but instead of Heartlesses there were only clocks and gears. The tick, tick, ticking noise coming from the tower freaked Dani out, “come on, where is that mirror,” Dani whined as she walks through the maze like tower. The tower chimed again, hearing it from the inside was like getting hit by a bronze hammer, Dani doubled over in pain. “It can’t be ringing now, it rung a couple moments ago,” Dani says still clutching her ears from the noise. From within the tower, Dani felt a presence of dread, as if she was not alone in the tower. The farther Dani walked in the tower the more heavy that dread felt. Dani continued to walk forward until she saw what she was looking for, the magic mirror. Feeling a sense of relief, Dani started to run towards the mirror, only to be snatched from behind and thrown to the other side of the room. Big menacing paws blocked Dani’s path to the mirror, the legs of this creature was as thick as tree trunks and with fur that resembles a grassy field.Dani looked up, the heartless was like the same one at the marketplace but with fur. “I knew it was going to smoothly,” says Dani. The heartless roared and charged at Dani, who barely jumped out of the way to safety. Taking a deep breath, Dani charged at the heartless with all her might. Back at Belview Kingdom, Samus is sitting in his study when a carrier pigeon arrives with a letter. Opening the letter, Samus began to read the contents and with a sigh he puts the letter down. Maya, who was standing in the corner, approached, “is something wrong your highness?” Samus looked down at the letter, “it seems like our new little friend is about to receive a very painful lesson.” Dani was having a hard time finishing that heartless, no matter how many times Dani struck it, it always got back up. “Oh, come on, stay down!” Dani whined as she prepared to make another charge. The heartless gave an ear shattering roar and jumped Dani, not giving her enough time to move. Dani found herself pinned in the worst way possible, her back to the ground and the heartless on top of her. Before the heartless can finish her the mirror shone a bright light that drove the heartless away. Dani rose up from the ground with a confused expression on her face, “if this mirror is the source of the heartless, why did it help me?” Dani wondered. “Destroy it, destroy the mirror,” a voice echoed in Dani’s head, getting louder and louder, Dani pressed both hands to her head, until Dani couldn’t take it anymore and she smashed the mirror. The second the mirror was smashed, the one once bright room became dark and the gears made a horrible screeching sound. Dani sensed that something was wrong and realized all too late her mistake.
