After a lengthy meeting, I returned to my library. It was around noon, so I ordered a simple meal and quickly finished it. The documents on my table were still piled up.
With no time to rest, I focused on them again. Just then, a subordinate knocked and said he had something urgent to report. I allowed.
"Your Majesty, Miss Bella has been kidn*pped. The six guards who accompanied her this morning were found dead in a secluded corner of a street by patrolling soldiers." Concerned about the future Queen Luna, the subordinate didn't dare to delay and immediately reported to the king upon receiving the news.
