CHAPTER 15Lucifer wasn’t impressed with Legionaries’s plan.
“What, exactly, is feeding into the human’s dreams going to accomplish?” he mocked. “You’re wasting my time.”
Holding up his hands in a sign of surrender, Legionaries spoke quickly. “Master, please give me a chance to explain. I will use the tool of fear. What you just saw is only the first part of my plan. Did you see what happened after I released them from the human’s dream?”
His question fell on deaf ears. Lucifer only scowled down at him.
“It’s a matter of time at this point, Master,” Legionaries assured him. “However, with your permission, I will go to Earth to do the rest of my work—I can be much more efficient if I am closer to the problem.”
