Dorthy’s Anger

I look up and she the angry face of Dorthy. Of course it’s her man I wish they would change my room. She starts screaming and at first I can’t even make out the words she is shrieking so loud. YOU NASTY MUTT!!! HOW DARE YOU TRY AND REPORT ME!!!! Oh I see they must have questioned her about my complaints.

THIS IS MY ROOM I WILL DO AS I PLEASE!!!! I’M IN CHARGE NOT SOME LOW LIFE MUTT!!! I am sure you must be having some kind of nervous breakdown or something because I am sure you did not come and try to ruin my day off. You know what you stay and get some emotional support I’m going to leave. I stand and pack my supplies to head to the library to study and finish my current assignments.

She blocks the door in an attempt to stop me from leaving. I start to laugh asking if she’s crazy enough to be charged with kidnapping? Her eyes darken I definitely seen it this time and she shoves past me. Not waiting to watch her head explode I head to the library. I stop at the corner stand and grab a coffee and snacks since I rushed out leaving my fresh cup of coffee. Man I hate wasting coffee good thing I use a non dairy powder creamer I will warm it when I get home.

I make it to a booth at the library and spread my material to begin my assignments. After two studious hours I had done both of my English assignments, so I chose to take a break and go grab lunch. Since I am trying to penny pinch I head reluctantly back to my dorm. My gut said I shouldn’t but my brain said I could not afford to keep eating out.

Walking through the hall almost at my door and my phone rings. Looking down I see my dad calling and smile knowing that he’s calling to remind me about my party on Sunday. Hi dad, hi sweetie how’s your day been? Ya know me I like to get ahead on my assignments so I have been working in the library. I hope they haven’t piled the work on to hard already, My dad say’s with a sigh.

No dad they are allowing us to work ahead so after completing my first two assignments I started finishing Thursday’s work also. I am not sure what assignments my two classes on Monday will give so I am being prepared. I doubt that you will have many actual written assignments for your gym class. I still do not understand why you are taking gym when it is not required. I can hear the annoyance in his voice because he think’s working out like I enjoy is for guy’s.

Dad I am sure that my calculus class will give me more than enough work. I am taking gym as an elective so it’s an easy class so I am not overwhelmed my first semester. I am just saying Bug that there were different classes you could have taken like Music or art appreciation. I huff dad I am almost back to my dorm and I need to eat I am gonna go okay? Okay hun I just wanted to remind you to be here early Sunday afternoon. Oh yeah speaking of I invited Va Lara to come. Oh really she’s a nice girl I am glad but I am not sure what your mother will say.

I laugh knowing he’s right but Dad it’s my 18th birthday I am not a baby I should have MY friends at the party not moms stuffy business partners. You are right love I will smooth it over for you. Thank you dad I love you see you Sunday. Love you to sweetheart and don’t worry about your mom I will take care of it. After hanging up the phone I walk into my room and could not believe my eyes.

The entire room was trashed, everything inside was knocked over and torn. My bed was ruined because on my comforter in spray paint were the words Mutt in red. I knew it was Dorthy so I walked right to security and guess who is there. Dorthy sobbing about how someone broke into our room and vandalized it. Oh wow this girl was good making the report first would make her look innocent.

When she seen me she gave me an evil triumphant smile. The security officer checked our room took photos and make the report. He informed us he would check the security cameras on our floor. Shock and fear crossed Dorthy’s face hearing about the camera’s hahaha yeah she forgot about those in her rage. Now it was me giving her a triumphant smile.

She plastered a fake smile on her face thanking the officer and left with him. Goodness I sure hope she doesn’t come back any time soon. Thankfully the food items I had purchased were mostly good. Stripping my bed to take it to the laundry praying to get the paint out before it drys. I walk down the hall to our floors laundry room and start my load. As I return to my room to finish cleaning and finally eat I am famished. My stomach growls so loudly, I can’t believe that I have been so hungry.

I deserve a big juicy burger for this BS I have had to deal with today. I had 1 hour and 25 minutes till I needed to change my laundry over so instead of finishing my room I head to the diner. I don’t see Va Lara but the waitress I get was super sweet and quick. I ordered an extra large bacon burger with onion rings and a large orange cream shake. Took me a good twenty minutes to finish my food and start to head out. The door chimes and lo and behold who walks in Alexander with several other guys. My jaw drops because this is just my luck to run into him when he is apparently Dorthy’s man.
