"Hello and welcome to todays lesson! First of all, as you all may know, the new classmate begins today! I hope you all will be nice and friendly to him, to make him comfortable here!" Says Mister Maxwell with a smile as he gestures with his arms.
Not long after, there is a knock on the door and a tall handsome boy enters the room. As everyone else in the room, Ashe's eyes lands on the guy. Without thinking, she notices that his jawline is sharp and his face is perfect. The hair is shiny black and quite short, but not too short, the perfect length to pull your fingers through the hair. His body seems to be well built and muscular, the perfect body too.
"Wow, he's cute", Ashe hears a girl behind her whisper. With those words, Ashe realizes what just hit her mind and quickly shakes off the thoughts. Gross.
"Hello!" says Mister Maxwell while shaking hands with the new guy. "Welcome! I'm glad to have you in my class!"
"Thank you Mister Maxwell", the new guy answers with a smile.
"Perhaps, you might want to introduce yourself to the class?" continues Mister Maxwell polite.
"Sure. Well, hello, I'm Jess. I'm from Soul, North Korea... Well, I don't really know what to say, but I'm happy to be here. Hope you all have a good day", Jess says a little nervously. So that's his name, Jess...
"You can take a seat beside Ashe, back there", Max finally says, pointing to the empty bench next to Ashe's right side. No, f**k, f**k, f**k!
As Jess sits down, Ashe tries to ignore him, ignore the weird feeling in her body. She can see his eyes staring at her from the side and and instantly wishes she could change spot, far from him. His gaze on her feels warm and strange, but still, somehow, comfortable at the same time.
The time goes by and Ashe starts to get annoyed. The feeling of just leaving the lesson just grows bigger inside of her.
.
Jess keeps staring, now and then, on Ashe. It's something about her... Her aura is... different. Jess tries to keep his attention on Mister Maxwell's lesson but never successfully does. He finds Ashe too interesting, for some reason.
Jess looks around him and instantly notice all the eyes on him from the girls. Without really caring, he's eyes goes back to Ashe and then his pencil in his hand.
"See you guys tomorrow! Have a good day!" says Max and the lesson is finally over. Jess's eyes goes back to Ashe, but ends up only seeing her back, on her way out.
.
Ashe walks through the the corridor, on her way to her favorite place at school, as she pulls hair back, she notices Jess standing at the expedition. She stops and looks at him from behind, but wakes up when he turns around. His black deep eyes meet hers for a second, but quickly Ashe looks down and turns around and walks away.
.
What a girl, I don't know... She makes me feel... something, Jess thinks as he pulls his fingers through his hair and turns around back again.
.
His eyes... they, he, makes me feel... something, Ashe thinks as she sits down on her favorite bench and the warm sunlight hits her face.
.
"Hello! I'm Emma! How are you doing?" Emma asks friendly as she plays with her hair.
"Hello, I'm just fine. What about you?" Jess asks polite, but all he really wants to do is to leave.
"I'm doing just fine too! If you have any questions at all or need anything, I'm here!" Emma continues with a big smile, but this time she takes a step while flirting.
"Well... I do have one question..." Jess answers uncertainly and scratches his head.
"Ask! I'm sure I'll be able to help you!" Excited, Emma looks into Jess's eyes.
"I'm not really sure... But, you know that girl. The girl I sat next to during Mister Maxwell's class, what is her name and who is she?" Jess asks nervously.
"Uhh.. Well she's just a weirdo. No one really talks to her, not because she even tried to be social. She prefers to be alone, so we let her. She's kinda an outsider, like a ghost. Always dark clothes and that", Emma answers nonchalantly. Despite her attempts to hide her irritation and anger from the question Jess just asked, she smiles and waits.
"But why..?" Jess asks, ignoring Emma's irritation.
"I don't know and I don't really care, neither should you. She's not important. But hey, do you want to eat lunch with me and my friends?" Emma asks, this time she is happy again with a big smile. Jess sees her excited face clearly.
"Uhm, you know what. I'm sorry, I have to do something, maybe next time?" Jess answers and feels guilty for lying to Emma. But at the same time, he really does not want to eat with her or her friends, ever. They seem... just to be a little bit... too much for him.
"Oh, okay, next time", Emma answers disappointed and turns around and disappears within a second.
"Oh god... She's too much..." Jess sighs with a sense of relief that she's gone.
.
As Ashe sit on the bench with the sunlight on her face, with her phone in her hand, she hears a familiar voice.
"Hello Ashe! How are you doing? Have you eaten?" asks Helen, the school counselor, with a friendly voice.
"Uh, no..." Ashe answers, trying to hide the annoying feeling inside of her.
"Come on, you need to eat Ashe. It's important. Follow me down, we can eat togheter." Helen asks, or commands as she closes the door to her office and waves her hand to Ashe, to follow. Why... I don't want too...
Without saying anything, she follows Helen down. Ashe takes a plate and puts some food on it, and they sit down at a table a bit away from the others. Helen gives Ashe that look when she thinks she have taken to little food, but Ashe just ignores it as every other time.
.
With Jess's plate in his hand and a glass of water in the other, he looks around. He sees a munch of people, laughing and joking. Suddenly, he sees her, Ashe, sitting with a woman at a table a bit away form everyone else. After a while of reflection, he starts walking towards the table where Ashe and the woman are sitting.
"Hello, could I sit down?" Jess asks nicely.
"Yes, of course! Sit down! You're the new student, right?" Helen asks friendly with a big smile.
"Yeah, I am", Jess answers as he sits down next to Ashe.
"Nice to meet you! I'm Helen, the school counselor", Helen continues.
"Nice to meet you too, I'm Jess", Jess answers as they shake hands.
"Hey~" says Jess but is quickly interrupted by Ashe.
"I'm sorry, I got to go", says Ashe irritated as she gets up quickly with the plate in her hand and disappears quickly.
.
"OMG, WHY?! WHY WHY WHY?!" she shouts as she rushes out to get some air. I don't want to! I can't! I'm better alone, and he's better not knowing me. Why can't he just... why can't he just stop, understand and back the hell up! Ugh!
"Ashe?" Jess's voice is calm but also nervous.
"No no no!" Ashe's breaths are heavy and fast. "Stop, please stop."
"Okay, okay, just breathe", Jess says in an attempt to calm Ashe down as he takes a few steps back with his hands up in the air.
