Then we drove to the gas station to buy some gas for the car I have to Stephanie before driving to the club.

After we put gas in the car, we drove to the nearest first-class club in the city. When we got there, we pulled over, got out of the car, and left it for the parking attendants to drive to the club garage.

We both went inside and took a seat in the VIP section. Then, immediately, a handsome-looking waiter approached us.

“Ma’am, what do you want to order? Here is the menu, ma’am.” The Waiter asked.

Stephanie took the menu from him.

“I want some liquor, some chicken wings, and some juice as well.” Stephanie said to him.

“What about you, ma’am? Would you prefer anything?” The waiter asked.

“Uhm, just get me some orange juice and some chicken wings too.” I replied to the waiter .

“Is that all, ma’am?” The waiter asked.

“Yes, dear, that’s all for now. If you want, you can also get something, okay? Don’t worry, I will pay for everything.” I said to the waiter.

“Really, ma’am?” The waiter said.

“Yes, sure! Trust me, just get whatever you like, I will pay for everything at once.” I said to the waiter.

“Oh, ma’am, thanks so much! I really appreciate it, ma’am.” The waiter said to me.

“My pleasure, dear.” I said.

Then he left to get what we had ordered.

“Girl! That guy is hot! Mmm.”Stephanie said .

“Do you like him?” I asked Stephanie.

“Uhm! I guess so. I do, yeah, I really do.” Stephanie said.

“Mmm, okay. I will call him, and then you both can talk?” I said to Stephanie

“YEAH! I can do that for sure!.” Stephanie said.

Then the waiter came out with our orders and walked towards us.

“Girl, are you ready? Here he comes!.” I asked and said to Stephanie.

“I guess I am, girl!.” Stephanie said.

Then the waiter served us genuinely and was about to leave to go serve some other people.

“HEY, DEAR!.” I called the waiter.

“Yes, ma’am. Do you need anything else, ma’am?” The waiter answered and asked.

“No, not really. Actually, it’s just that my friend here thinks you’re good looking, and she likes you and wants to talk to you.” I said to the waiter.

Then I moved to the empty chair a little farther from where they were, just so I could give them some space to talk to each other.

“Hey!.” Stephanie said.

“Hey!.” The waiter replied.

“I’m Stephanie, and you?” Stephanie said and asked.

“Uhm, I’m Mike, and it’s my pleasure to meet you here, Stephanie.” The waiter said to Stephanie.

“I know you’re busy with your work right now, and we can’t talk properly, I mean like we’re supposed to right now because you still have clients to attend to. Why don’t you give me your number, and I will text you? Maybe tomorrow we can hang out after work or something?” Stephanie said to the waiter.

“Uhm, sure, it’s cool.” The waiter said.

“Here is my phone, type your number in. I will text you.” Stephanie said to him.

“Oh, okay.”

(He typed in the number)

“Here you go. I have to go now, and it was really nice meeting you, Stephanie. And say thanks to your friend for me too for being generous to me tonight.” The waiter said.

“The pleasure is all mine.” Stephanie said to him.

“We will see each other tomorrow after work?” The waiter asked her.

“Uhm, of course we can. Let’s see how things go.” Stephanie said to him.

Then the waiter left to continue his job, and Stephanie and I stayed in the club for one hour before we left.

When I got home, Stephanie texted me on the phone:

“Girl, thank you for everything that you did for me today. You’re an angel, I really do appreciate you.” Stephanie said to me.

“Stephanie! You don’t have to keep thanking me, girl. We are close friends, and you’re special to me. You’re more than a friend.” I said to Stephanie.

“Aww, thanks again! Or sorry, I won’t thank you again since you say so, hahaha!.” Stephanie said and laughed.

“Cool, it’s fine.” I said to her.

“Camila, I also want to tell you something…” Stephanie said.

“What, girl? Come on, you can tell me what it is.” I asked and said.

“Well, I’m going on a date with the waiter guy we saw today.” Stephanie said to me

“Oh, that’s really cool, for real!.” I said to Stephanie.

“Wait… did I tell you what his name was?” Stephanie asked.

“No, girl, you didn’t! Hahaha, you were so carried away by him! Hahaha.” I said and laughed.

“Hahaha! That’s funny, girl. Well, his name is Mike, so yeah, we are going on a date. I mean, I want to get to know him better.!”Stephanie laughed and said.

“That’s cool, girl. I hope he is the right one for you.” I said to her.

“Let’s see if he is the right man for me, but the truth is I am starting to like him. I mean, he is hot and good looking, you know?”Stephanie said to me.

Then the next day, we went to work, and after work, Stephanie left to meet up with Mike, the man who works as a waiter at the club, and then I drove straight back home.

The next morning, I woke up, brushed my teeth, took my shower, ate my breakfast, and dressed up for work as usual, then drove to work.

When I got to work, I saw Stephanie putting on a sad face. That’s when I figured everything wasn’t right as it seemed.

“HEY! Girl?” !. I said to Stephanie.

“Hey, Camila”. Stephanie said to me.

“How are you?” I asked Stephanie.

“Ugh, I’m good, girl.” Stephanie replied.

“Really? Well, you don’t seem fine. I’m sure something is bothering you, but it’s fine if you don’t want to share it with me, I understand.” i said to Stephanie.

“Yeah, well, the truth is that my date with Mike didn’t go well,” Stephanie said with a sad tone.

“Oh, that’s not good. But wait, what actually happened between you two? Did you two get into a fight?” I said and asked Stephanie.

“NO!.” Stephanie replied.

He didn’t show up? I asked Stephanie.

“No! Girl, what actually happened is that everything was going fine until he told me he has a girlfriend whom he loves so much and wants to marry,after I heard that, I left immediately. That really broke my heart, I was shedding tears throughout last night.”Stephanie said.

“OH! I’m so sorry about that, Stephanie. I’m really sorry. But maybe it’s good that he let you know that. He is an honest man, and he doesn’t want to cheat. Also, I feel like he didn’t want to break your heart too, that’s why he did what he did.” I said to Stephanie.
