Chapter 17 Come Home With Us

The report showed that she was the true daughter of the Smith family, while the other report had clarified that Shirley was the imposter.

Victoria then felt a sense of belonging after seeing this paternity test report.

So this wasn't a dream, was it?

What a ridiculous twist of fate!

It turned out that she was the real one, and they were actually her biological siblings.

However, did they know that Shirley had deceived her, gotten her pregnant, and even taken her babies? Did they go along with Shirley's wicked plans?

William and Walden grew increasingly anxious when they thought Victoria wouldn't want them as her siblings because they hadn't heard her say another word.

"Vic, we're sorry. It's our fault. We didn't treat you right and we let you down. And you chose to leave us. But we swore that will never happen again, and we wouldn't force you to feel wronged."

William made a swearing gesture: "We will love you and get you whatever you want. Please don't leave us again. If we break our promise, God will sentence us to death!"

Walden, Ward, and Waldron followed suit.

They were truly terrified, thinking that their beloved Victoria would never forgive them and wouldn't see them as her brothers!

Since they hadn't protected, cared for, and loved her properly in the past.

Seeing his determined and sincere eyes, Victoria clasped his hands tightly.

"So you really didn't know why I disappeared five years ago?" Victoria asked speculatively.

William was the first to notice her unusual tone.

"Vic, what happened to you five years ago? What made you decide to leave us? Now feel free to tell us. We'll help you."

Walden followed up, saying, "Vic, we were all devastated when we heard you disappeared. From the day you left, we've been thinking about the reasons why you decided to leave us. Weren't we good enough to make you feel safe and happy? Or worse, did we hurt you, so you chose to ignore us?"

Ward added, "Vic, did something terrible happen to you back then? Were you bullied by someone? Don't be afraid. I'll punish that scum!"

Waldron interrupted, "Vic. "I'll cut to pieces whoever has bullied you or plans to bully you."

Victoria clenched her fists to stop herself from trembling as she looked into their loving eyes.

It was Shirley who bullied her back then!

But she'd rather believe they truly didn't know what Shirley had done to her than know they had done to her than know that they had accepted Shirley's evil deeds.

Honestly, if they truly didn't know, there was no way she would tell them.

It was because she was worried that Shirley would be pressured so much that she would kill her children when the truth came out.

Besides, she didn't want Richard to know they had four other children, or he might turn them away.

Therefore, she had to keep that secret and searched for the children on her own to hide them from the others.

She didn't say another word. With a forgiving look, she shook her head and said, "It didn't matter anymore! Nothing had happened at that moment!"

She would find all her children on her own.

Besides, Victoria herself could confront Shirley and destroy her!

She wasn't sure if they would be on her side when they found out what Shirley had done to her. In recent years, every time she had a word with Shirley, whose fault it was mostly, Shirley would sneak off to her brothers with tears in her eyes.
