A Plea For HelpI awoke and my chest hurt like hell. I tried to breathe in and that minor effort hurt worse. I heard myself wheeze. I had been laid out on my back on a rock hard surface, and my butt and back were ice cold from lying on stone. I fluttered my eyes open. I was in the mausoleum again. I sat up and felt dizzy for a moment, and then I focused and saw I was lying on one of the two pedestals. It still hurt to breathe but not as bad as it did a minute ago. I pushed around on my chest with my hands and it ached but didn’t hurt so I was certain I hadn’t broken any ribs. Outside I could see the sun was orange and rising.
