As we were walking past the main entrance, I got a text from Madeline asking for more money.
It surprised me that she asked. I was sure her pride wouldn't let her do something like that, but it made me feel proud to see her progress.
As I got my phone out already, I texted Zack, asking how it was going and I got a picture of Madeline standing in front of Butch and she looked like she was arguing. It was clear that butch was angry, impressed and turned by her. It made me feel a bit jealous, but I knew that he had no chance with her. And even if he was stupid enough to try, she would either kill him or break a few ribs at least.
That thought brought a slight smile to my lips.
A moment later, another text from Zack arrived.
She is arguing with the man for giving her weak s**t guns
