“I can’t believe we let them talk us into waiting until morning to leave.” Logan was pissed and so was I. As soon as the meeting was over, Uncle Rob, Adam and myself were ready to search every inch of Black Talon. The Elders, on the other hand, were too busy with formalities, like drafting an official letter requesting the packs' full cooperation.
Uncle Rob held his tongue but I could tell he wasn’t pleased to be told to wait. Bright and early, he was up demanding the letter so that we could go into Eugene where there were three helicopters waiting for us at the airport. Each of them could fit nineteen bodies. That meant we were able to take fifty warriors and plenty of gear.
