DEVON POV I felt like my heart was going to beat out of my chest when she finally answered me. When I first got close enough to link her twenty minutes ago, she didn’t answer, and I began to worry. It dawned on me that the pain in my head I had felt after I heard the explosion was hers. So, I hoped that the reason she didn’t answer was because she had passed out. It was better than them shooting her up with wolfsbane. I busied myself looking around and informing Elder Luke about how their patrol was set up and the design of the poorly built pack house that looked more like cabins lined up next to each other. So that when they arrive, which will be soon, we can skip that part and get to it. I didn't see any weapons or drones, but that didn't mean they didn't have any. Not that it mattere
