When I finally sensed her and scented her. It pushed me to go faster, wanting to cut the distance between us. Alex seemed just as motivated as I was, but he also seemed distracted. If I wasn’t worried about my mate, I would dig deeper into that. The fact that I could feel her nearness gave me hope that she was no longer moving further away. They had stopped.
