It was Friday again, and the first thing Maris asked me was if I had read the book already. I told her, “Maybe this weekend” and she had gone quiet for most of the day. For our club meeting, we had to use the library in the meantime because our room was currently under maintenance, as well as a few other classrooms. It had been a while since I last visited the library on my own. It was during the time I was into solving Nicole’s case, thus, dubbing the place as my thinking spot after class. I was expecting to see some of the members already there (for I had arrived late because of cleaning duty), but it was only Maris who seemed to be in the mood for the usual reading and writing.
