Chapter Twenty-FourAugust 12
8:55 a.m.
Scott met Marty and Justin in the Bonaventure Hotel lobby. They both looked a little lost in the strangely shaped hotel. Scott had spent a number of days in meetings here over the years, but the thirty-three-story building was confusing to those who didn't know it, with odd shapes and elevators designated by colors and shapes, like the red circle, yellow diamond and green square. Scott pulled his wheeled brief case towards the hotel registration counter to ask where the meeting was scheduled. Before he got there, he saw the daily directory that had been posted. Among its listings was “Aligor meeting, 232.”
The three made their way to the elevator and exited on the second floor, where numerous meeting rooms were housed. They found Conference Room 23
