I was sitting on the tree, doing nothing. I had already texted Diana that I would be away from the pack for a while, so she didn't need to worry about me, and I would share my location with her in case I moved from my current one. I was thankful that she didn't nag me with the unnecessary question and gave me the space I needed.
I was still having a hard time believing what had happened.
Ivory was extremely silent after that. I knew she was more hurt compared to me because she had kept her expectation high. I would have kicked that jerk away from my life by rejecting him, but it was Ivory who almost begged me not to do so.
My Lycan was so much in love with her mate.
