What Happens Next

What to do?

I walked off the bus and had PJ drive me to the airport. I hopped the next plane to meet up with Jesse early. When I got to his hotel room I knocked and some chick opened the door. 

"Who are you?" She snaps at me

I push past her shoving her out of my way and dropping my bags. I take off to the bedroom to see Jesse on the phone looking out the window.

"Giant" I whisper

He spins around quickly and hangs up his phone and walks over to me. He wraps his arm around me and the girl behind us huffs.

"b***h i'm his f*****g sister. Get the f**k out" I say spinning around glaring at her

Her eyes widen and she gulps. 

"What is the meaning of this?" Jesse asks

"She was f*****g rude since I knocked on he goddamn door" i tell him

"Your fired" he tells the girl

She gasps and her eyes water.

"I'm sorry" She whispers and walks out 

Giant pulls me back into his chest and I sigh hugging him back. 

"What happened?" Jesse asks

"Promise when I tell you that you won't judge" I whisper

He nods and I tell him the story even about Danny so he would understand. He says nothing but just kisses the top of my head. He tells me to shower and get in bed and sleep and he will be back later. I do as he says and when I wake up again Luke and Jesse were in the living room talking. I stagger into the sitting area and plop down on the couch rubbing my eyes. 

"Hey kid how you feeling?" Luke asks

"I'm ok." I tell him

"So about BG" Jesse says

"No Jesse. I'm done. He is the one that walked away. I aint got time for a boyfriend anyways. I just wanna do this week with you and then start my new job" I say standing up walking away from them both

9 MONTHS LATER

I was running around the clinic cleaning up after a long day. I was exhausted and ready to go home to Sav, Bella and Luke. Yes Luke and I started dating and we were engaged. I knew it was fast but I had known him for years and he swept me off my feet and I fell hard for him. I wiped my hands off and grabbed my bag and purse and locked up and headed home. When i got home Sav was running around grinning. 

"What are you doing?" I ask her

"Go put on the dress on your bed" She says

I nod and go shower and get ready once I was done Sav drove us a field and when I stepped out I gasped. Luke walked up to me grinning and I smiled as he took my hands. 

"Ready to Marry me?" He asks

I nod and we get married right then and there with our family and friends surrounding us. I stayed living with Sav cause it was easier since Luke was on the road a lot. 

1 year later

I was at work when my phone dinged and I picked it up to see it was Luke but I put my phone back down and ignored it. I needed him last week and he refused to answer any of the calls that were made to him. I headed out for lunch and when I was leaving the building I bumped into a solid chest. I looked up to apologize and realized it was BG.

"Alexa" He says in shock

"Brantley" I say offering a smile

"How you been?" He asks

"Good. Opened my own clinic not to far from here and got married" I say smiling

"Oh wow. Congrats" He says shoving his hands in his pockets

"What are you doing here?" I ask

"This is my home town" He says chuckling

"Oh. i didn't know. No wonder I seen your momma the other day" I say 

I shake my head a bit and it goes fuzzy and I stumble a bit. Arms catch me and I look up to see Brantley looking at me in concern. 

"I'm ok. Just been a busy day. I haven't eaten yet" I tell him

"Let me buy you lunch" He says

"Thanks but got it covered" I say holding up my to go bag

"Alright then. See you around" He says walking around me

I nod and walk away and back to the vet clinic and sit down eating my lunch. I took my pain meds when my phone rang again. I knew it was Luke but I still didn't answer him. I closed up early and headed home to find Sav on the couch waiting on me. I sat down sighing when i looked at her you could tell she was terrified to me something.

"What is it?" I ask

She sighs and hands me her phone and I look through the pictures and videos and a tear slips down my face. 

"When?" I ask

"Last week" She whispers

"Can you call Stan?" I ask

"Sure hun" She says and takes her phone making the call

Stan agrees to meet with me and I change clothes and go meet him at the diner. When I walk in a find a seat and Stan comes in twenty minutes later and takes a seat. 

"I want a divorce" I say to him

"Alexa can I ask why?" He asks in shock

I pass him my phone and he looks through it all in shock and worry but nods and hands my phone back to me.

"I can have the papers done by tomorrow morning. Since he cheated you get so much. And don't say you don't want it cause I will be getting it for you after it's yours you can do what you want with it"He tells me

"Stan he helped me with the clinic" I say in panic

"IS the deed in both your names?" He asks

"No mine" I say

"Then legally it's yours even if he helped pay for it he can't touch it" Stan says

"Thanks Stan. How much is this gonna cost me?" I ask

"Nothing. Call it a favor" He says smiling at me

I offer one back and I head home. When I get home Sav had wine and a movie waiting on me. I drowned myself in three bottles of wine and fell asleep with my head in Sav's lap.

Savannah's POV

There was a knock on the door so I got up and went over to open it and Ben stepped in.

"Can you carry her to bed for me?" I whisper

He nods and scoops her up and I tuck her in and walk back to the living room. 

"What happened?" Ben asks cleaning up the bottles and glasses

"Luke cheated on her last week. I got the proff. Lex needed him last week and he wouldn't answer his phone for no one" I say

"What happened?" Ben asks

"I can't tell you. That is up to Alexa to tell anyone." I say

"Alright Savvy. BG ran into her earlier." Ben says

"Oh god. She doesnt need this right now." I mumble

There is another knock on the door and I walk over opening it seeing Luke stand there. 

"What the f**k are you doing here?" I snap

"I'm here to see my wife" He snaps back at me

"Call my lawyer" I hear behind me

I turn to see Alexa standing there fuming. 

"What lawyer?" Luke asks in shock

ALEXA'S POV

"The divorce lawyer." I tell him looking him dead in his eyes

His eyes widened and he gulped. 

"alexa" He starts

"Was she worth it Luke? Was f*****g that slut worth your wife and child?" I scream at him

"What child?" he asks

"Excuse me dead child. I miscarried last week. I blew up your phone needing you hear and you were f*****g that w***e seven ways to Sunday. So let me make this clear get the f**k out of my life or so help me god I'll call Jesse and tell him everything" I snarl

He gulps but backs out the door and leaves. A tear slips down my face and my legs buckle. Arms wrapped around me and Ben lifted me up and carried me to my bed. He tucked me in and he and Sav slid in bed with me and wrapped around me. 

"Sleep Lex" Ben whispers

I nod and lay my head on his chest and close my eyes. When I woke up again it was early so I pried myself away from the two asleep in my bed and walked out grabbing my phone. I dialed the familiar number and sighed when they answered. 

"Hello" Brantley says

"BG" I whisper

"Alexa? What's wrong?" He asks

"Are you busy?" I ask

"No not at the moment" He tells me

"Could you come pick me up?" I ask

"Sure" He says

I send him my address and I get dressed and wait outside. I send Sav a text telling her I left and would be back later. A few minutes later BG pulls up and I jump in. I looked a hot mess and when I looked at him his eyes widened. 

"Where to?" he asks

"Don't care. Can we just drive?" I whisper

He nods and takes off. We drive for a hour before he speaks. 

"What happened?" He asks

"He cheated while on the road. I found out yesterday and filed for divorce. Stan should be calling me today about signing papers." I whisper

He nods not saying anything but he pulls up to a lake and gets out and comes around helping me out and I walk over to the edge of the water. I look down at my rings and sigh. I pull them off my finger and rare back throwing them out in the water. 

My shoulders slump in defeat and the tears start up. A sob leaves my throat and my legs give out and I just cry. I cry over my failed marriage, over my child I never got to meet, over it all. Arms wrap around me and I cry til I can't cry anymore. I pull back wiping my face and i stand up and stretch. I look at BG who was looking at me with worry in his eyes and I offer him a real smile. 

"I needed that. I need to call Jesse and let him know what's going on though" I say

He goes to stay something but a sharp pain runs through my tummy and I bend over gripping it groaning. Hands grab me and I grit my teeth working through the pain. 

"What's wrong?" He asks in concern

"I miscarried last week. I'm on pain meds for the next month" I whisper

His eyes widen and then he scoops me up and carries me home and when he carries me through the door Jesse, Sav, Ben and the other boys were all there. 

"I figured she called you" Sav says moving my hair off my face

"She needed to get out and get some anger out" BG says looking down at me

He places me in the chair and stands behind me. 

"So Luke did you tell the boys?" I ask

"Tell us what?" Jesse asks

"I'm divorcing Luke." I say

"What?" Jesse says 

"Yeah your best friend has been f*****g other bitches in his room. I got the pictures and videos to prove it. Stan will be here in a bit for us to sign the papers. Oh and when I blew up his phone last week I was in the hospital miscarrying his child while he was getting his d**k wet" I snap

Before anyone could stop it Jesse laid into Luke and then the other boys took their turns. A knock sounds at the door and Sav opens it and Stan comes in. I read over the papers and sign it and Luke goes to protest but all the guys look at him and he sighs and signs them.

"Get the f**k out of my house" I yell at him

He flinches but leaves and hands land on my shoulders and rub softly. I relax into huge hands and sigh. Jesse walks over kneeling in front of me and places a hand on my tummy and looks at me with teary eyes. 

"I'm ok." I whisper

"I'm sorry" he says and a tear slips down his face

"It's ok. It wasn't my time. I can still have more but I'm on pain meds for a month. I can't work so I'm taking some vacation time to relax" I tell him

"Wanna come out with us?" JEsse asks

"No thanks" i say

"You can come with me. I'm gonna go visit momma" BG says

"Really?" I say looking at him with a grin

"Sure. She wants to see you anyways. Something about fattening you up some" He says shrugging

I flinch and he curses under his breath.

"Sorry princess" he whispers in my ear

"it's ok" I mumble

"I'll go pack you a bag" Sav says

I watch her walk away and tilt my head thinking about how things could have gone. I was lost in my thoughts that I didn't hear them calling my name. Sav shook me a bit and I looked up at her. 

"Yeah" I say

"You ok babe?" She asks

"Yeah was just lost in my own thoughts" I tell her standing up

She hugs me and I hug the guys and BG leads me to his truck and we head to his house to pick up Sylo. 

"Do you wanna stay here or at mommas?" He asks

"Can I stay here?" I ask

He nods and takes my bags inside and comes back with Sylo. He jumps in the truck and comes over laying his head in my lap. 

"Hi buddy" I say petting him

BG chuckles and then drives to his mommas. When we get there he gets Sylo out and then comes around helping me out. 

"baby boy" His momma calls as she hears the front door open

"It's me momma. And I brought someone with me" He calls 

She comes around the corner and smiles seeing me. She opens her arms and i walk over and hug her. MY eyes tear up and I hold on tighter. 

"You ok baby?" She asks

I shake my head and my body starts racking with sobs. I hear BG sigh and come over picking me up and sitting down in the rocker and rocking me back and forth. I can hear them talking but I tune it all out. When I open my eyes again Becky was looking at me with worry. 

"i'm ok"  I whisper

"Why don't you two go for a ride" Momma tells us

Bg chuckles and stands with me in his arms still and walks out the back door. He sits me down and walks over to the barn opening the door and pulls out the fourwheeler and then waves me over and I climb on behind him and he takes off. He hits a mud puddle and I squeal and he chuckles. We ride around for a while and then we head back and he parks and he pulls me around to the side of the house that has a outdoor shower. He turns it on and kicks off his shoes. I notice towels hanging up so I knew his momma must have put them there. I kicked off my shoes and started stripping down to my bra and panties and stood under the water letting all the mud and gunk wash away. Once I was done BG took his turn and I wrapped the towel around me and removed my bra and panties and walked in the house. 

"Clothes on the bed upstairs" becky says

"Thanks" I say

I walk upstairs and find the clothes and slip them on and then I head downstairs taking a seat. 

"How you holding up sweetheart?" Becky asks

"I'm doing ok" I say

She hums and turns sitting a plate in front of me and I smile thanking her. BG walks in and sits down by me and places his hand on my knee and gives me a soft squeeze. 

"So you staying here tonight?" becky asks BG

"No mamma. We are staying at the house. She needs to unwind and some quiet. Offered her the spare room for as long as she needs it since I won't be there" Bg tells her

"And what about Amber?" His mamma asks

I suck in a breath and stand up walking out the front door and sitting down on the swing. I can hear him scolding his mother and then his footsteps start towards me. 

"Princess" he says

"Don't" I tell him not looking up

"Come on baby. Amber and I aint been together in months. I called if off after finding her in my bed with another man. It's ok. I promise not relationship talk and hell maybe you can help me redo my bedroom" He tells me

I peek up at him and he smirks knowing he got me. 

"What did she do?" I ask

"You will have to look. Come on" he says 

I take his hand and we head to his house. Once we pulled in he helped me and Sylo out and we headed inside. He took me to his room and pushed the door open and I gasped at all the pink and died laughing. I was holding my tummy laughing so hard I had tears flowing down my face. Once I sobered up a bit I looked at BG to see him grinning. 

"I need you to stand right here" I say pulling him over to stand with his back against all the pink

I pull out my phone and take his picture and post it to i********:. The caption says " Does this man really look like he likes pink? Whoever did this to this poor man deserves a swift kick to the throat." I tagged him in it and he chuckles. 

"Come on let's go shopping" I say 

He nods and we head out and go in Bed Bath and Beyond.I quickly grab everything he may need but he doesn't look at anything he just let me buy and he pays. Once back to the house he unloads it all and tells me he's gonna go pick up dinner and he will be back. I nod and get to work on his room. 

His bedroom

I moved onto the living room and and kitchen and grinned when I was done. 

I had the music on and was singing along finishing up when I heard his truck pull in. I stopped what I was doing and run out to the front porch. He came walking up raising a eyebrow. I crooked a finger at him and he sits everything down and bends down and I put the blindfold over his eyes and I lead him inside. I stand him where I want him and then I tell him to bend down and I remove the blindfold and he stands up straight. 

'Ok" I whisper

He opens his eyes and his eyes widen as he looks around and he smiles. 

"Wanna see the rest?" i ask

He nods and i take his hand and take him to the kitchen. His eyes widen again and I giggle and then lead him to the bedroom. I stop in front of his door and he closes his eyes and I open it and walk him in. 

"Alright" I say

he opens them and his jaw drops 

"Princess this all looks amazing. How did you know?" He asks

"You like my ring and the black so I kinda went off that. I added the red curtains for just a small splash of color so it wouldn't look like doom in here" I say with a smile

"I love it thank you." he says 

I nod and walk over opening the curtains and gasp at the view as the sun was setting.

"Wow" I say

"It's beautiful" He says

I look up at him and he was staring at me and i offer a small simile. 

"Come on girl let me feed you" He says and pulls me to the kitchen

He walks away and comes back with food and my tummy rumbles one he placing my plate in front of me. 

"Did I buy new dishes not knowing it?" He asks looking at me

I offer him a sheepish smile and he chuckles and kisses the side of my head and we eat in silence. 

"Princess about before" He starts

I silence him with a kiss and he growls against my lips. He pulls back and looks at me.

"What was that for?" he asks

"Thank you for today" I tell him

He shakes his head smiling at me and we finish dinner in silence.
