I'm about to kiss Kenji on the lips when he suddenly pushes me away, his eyes looking furious. Taken aback, I look at him in utter disbelief.
“What the hell, bro?” Rowan snarls. They all stood up from the couch in unison when they saw Kenji push me, they are as shocked as I am.
"What's wrong with you?!” Alessandre hisses.
I want to ask the same question, but I can't bring myself to speak. Why did he push me? I see his throat bob up and down before he brings his gaze from me to Alessandre. “Ask this b***h,” he says indifferently before walking past me and ascending upstairs.
I feel like my throat is closing, making me unable to breathe.
“I'm going to go after him,” I hear Atlas announce before he follows Kenji. I don't have the slightest idea as to why Kenji is mad at me. We were fine.
