CHAPTER TWO

Gee, wait up. Elena was running toward me when I heard her yell. My best friend is Elena. She was just as good and is a beta. She is, bar none, the best thing that has ever occurred to me, except my mom. What did I hear? Says she. How are you doing? She inquired, and I could see the anguish in her eyes.Transformation class is something I detest. We strolled slowly toward our lesson, and I remarked so. Juliette wants to show me how superior she is to me in transformation class as well.Elena reassured me, "It's okay." I'm here to keep you safe at all times. There was already a line when we arrived for class. The loser is about to appear. Ethan yelled. Juliette's previous partner was Ethan. After Juliette saw him kissing Zoe, an omega wolf, last summer, they called it quits. I am aware that Juliette found his infidelity with an Omega more repulsive than the kiss. It seemed to be an insult to her. Everyone was laughing at what Ethan said. Sometimes I believe Ethan mocks me as a tactic to get back with Julliette. “Mind your manners,”MissHummerin, our transformation teacher shouted. Nice of you both to join us, she said as she turned to us. As we got in line, Elena grrrd at Ethan. Her sharp wolf teeth are pointed and visible. Can everyone be on their best behavior?! Miss Hummerin shouted again. This time louder than before. As everyone lined up,the lesson began. Of all, I shouldn't be in this class. But my father still believed that there was my wolf self locked somewhere. Class concentrate and find your inner self. Close your eyes and become one Miss Hummerin murmured. Eeww, that's for Georgia, zane muttered. Julliette and others let out a loud but wicked laugh. Can we get to it already, Juliette said rather disgustedly. Elena charged again. One more word from anyone and you will regret it. Said the cat infested wolf zane said. Both her and Julliette laughed again ‘I don't even know what she sees in my failure as a sister’ Julliette said. Elena howled anguish and charged towards Julliette. But Zane pushed forward, blocking her. What do you want to do? She asked her. Everyone behave yourselves Miss Hummerin howled angrily. Elena! because you're excited to present yourself. You come first. Elena came out as her vibrant self. She let her long black hair fly in a wave. She made her way to the changing area at the rear of the classroom. Elena let out a shriek as she entered the classroom. The werewolf took a tall, proud stance. With eyes that flashed a furious amber, and fur as black as the night sky. There was a certain beauty in the way the fur gleamed and threw a silver sheen over its form, despite its terrifying aspect. Its razor-sharp teeth shone. She prowled through the class, the werewolf moved with a fluid grace, its movement both predatory and elegant. She howled, a haunting melody that sent shivers down the spines of everybody in class. Even as a werewolf, Elena’s beauty was still wild and untamed. She was altogether a force of nature, fierce and alluring in its savage majesty. She walked towards me and grinned, she turned and walked back into the dressing room. After a few minutes, Elena walked out. She looked at Julliette and her friend and murmured to them ‘that's how it's done, beat that. Julliette rolled her eyes. Miss Hummerin was in awe as she shouted ‘magnificent’!. When it comes to transformation, give it to Elena. No one has ever beaten her. Even though her wolf form wasn't the most muscular or biggest. There is always something about her that leaves everybody in awe. Zane, you are next Miss Hummerin said. Zane walked out and went to the dressing room. A white werewolf strode through the class, its muscles tearing beneath its pristine white fur, its sharp claws scraping the ground as it moved. Her intuitive abilities were as keen as its silky fur, and she came towards me, circling me with her silky white tail stroked against me, then giving me a devilish look before retreating back into the dressing room. Zane came out and gave me a wicked smile. Excellent! Miss Hummerin said. Next is Ethan. Ethan walked out with this sense of superiority. He walked into the dressing room and out came a white wolf. Its fur gleams as it prowls around. The sight of the white wolf, a representation of strength and power, draws attention. The chamber resounds with the howl of it. Its teeth pointed and clearly sharp. As he walks, its strong and pointed nail scrapes the ground. He has a commanding presence as he moves across the space. He walks back into the dressing room and in a few seconds Ethan comes out. And now it's the long awaited self acclaimed queen. When Julliette emerged,in her gray wolf. She was enormous, if not the largest. She conducted herself in the classroom as usual, exuding confidence. She approached me, gave me a growl, and turned to leave. That is, I believed. She whirled quickly and pounced on me. My face was soaked with her saliva. It stunned me. My spirit departed from my body. I'm confident she wouldn't harm me. But I was caught off guard by how quickly she moved. Her keen, sharp teeth were palpable in my neck. Elena lunged toward her. Miss Hummerin stopped her before she could change and howled at her. Julia was seized by Miss Hummerin, who then dragged her away. Her rage was already boiling over and her eyes had turned scarlet. Entering the changing room, Julliette walked majestically. After a few minutes, she smiled at me as she came out. She mimics a wailing infant's face. What was that supposed to mean? Miss Hummerin angrily questioned her. The purpose of changing into your wolf is protection, not offense, Miss Hummerin told the class. She asked Julliette to apologize to me. Julliette gave the impression of regret. She made a sad look and apologized. I asked myself what it was that she wasn't excellent at. She would be a great actor. Julliette turned to face me. I apologize, sister."You are too weak to be a Ragnork, pathetic," she continued, leaning down to whisper in my ears. Then the bell rang. She groaned and told me, "I would have enjoyed this, but we'll pick up where we left off next time." Miss Hummerin stopped her as she was walking out. 'Detention' for two weeks. Julliette didn't seem disturbed. Detention was not news to her. It's more of a tradition. Zane winked at me as she joined Juliette in walking away. You must begin to stand up to her or the bullying will continue, Elena warned me. I cannot, and you are aware of this I replied to her. It is not all about strength, They won't stop until you fight back, she said to me again. As we were walking out of the classroom, Mr Joseph, the janitor bumped into me. I am sorry, sir. I said, bending to pick up the broom that had fallen from his grasp. As I reached for the broom, he took my hand. I felt goosebumps all over my body. In that moment i saw myself in a hill looking down at burning houses. He leaned forward and whispered to my ear, 'Be mindful of the moon and never leave from your stars'. I was immediately released from him. He apologized to me and quickly walked away, as if nothing had happened. What was that? Elena asked me, perplexed. I do not know. I responded to her, as perplexed as she is. We both turned to see him go away as quickly as he appeared. Mr. Joseph was always thought to be weird. Prior to that day, I had only met him a few times in the corridor, greeting him each time. In fact, today was the closest I've ever come to him. I was still transfixed and amazed when Elena tapped me. Are you OK? She asked me. Yeah, I'm fine, I replied. I told her I'm just creeped out by Mr Joseph.Don't worry too much about it; he's always like that. Why do you suppose the students called him Mr. Creepy? Elena reassured me while dragging me away. Elena's mother was already waiting for her when we got outside. As she waited for her, she stood next to her black SUV Jeep. As we approached her, Elena waved to her. Mrs. Sullivan is a graceful, tall lady. While Elena clearly inherited her mother's appearance, she had the complete opposite disposition. I'm keeping track of the number of times I've seen Mrs. Sullivan grin. Not only that, but she didn't try to hide the fact that she didn't like me. Good day, Mom Elena. I said hello to Mrs. Sullivan when we arrived. She hissed and turned to face her daughter, asking, "How many times have I told you to stay away from her?" She didn't care to answer as she continued to chastise the daughter. "Of the Ragnork girls, you chose the family disgrace as your friend. I can never trust you to make the right choice," she muttered angrily as she got into the car. Elena turned to face me and apologized silently as she climbed into the car. I watched them drive away as I stood there. I wasn't feeling well but I'm used to receiving treatments like this. In fact, I would be shocked if I were to receive any other treatment. I started to walk to my bike's parking spot, unlocked it, got on, and began to ride home.
