Chapter 3

We are all doing the finishing touches to our look before we head off. Linc has been an asset giving us advice and a boys approval for how we look. He is so sweet I don't think he would have anything negative to say. Kenny, Ivy and Ruby all went with a dress with long sleeves and a nice jacket with over the knee boots. I was going to wear just my usual jeans and top when the girls decided I need to wear something different. They ransack Ruby's closet and dress me in a denim skirt with rips at the end and a tight fitting shirt and a nice fake fur jacket. Luckily I have small feet so I still got to wear my converse sneakers much to the girls annoyance "You always wear those bloody shoes Flo!" Ruby says to me annoyed. "Well they're my favourite and super comfy" I say tying up the laces and smiling. Ivy stashes some alcohol in her bag and Kenny brought with her a flask filled with Vodka from her parents liquor cabinet. She fills it back up with water so they wont notice. I keep telling her that one day they will want some and realise with one sip its more than half water and she'll be busted. "I will just blame my older brother. Daddy would never not believe his innocent baby girl" she says with a wink. 

We pile in the car and try to mask the sound of clinking bottles in Ivy's bag. When we arrive we make our way round the side gate and within seconds we start hearing music. "Hey Guys!" Sarah says waving at us. She gives us all a hug and tells us we can put our alcohol in the kitchen fridge. Once we have done that we find a spot around the fire pit. I immediately regret them convincing me to wear a skirt as I'm freezing my but off. "So who have you got your eye on tonight Ruby?" I ask and she smiles "Well I really wanna hook up with Josh. We've been texting all week and said he would be here but I don't see him yet." I turn to Kenny "And you miss?" Kendall just shrugs taking a sip of her alcohol, "Not sure yet but we will see what potential I can find" I just shake my head laughing knowing full well she wont have any problems getting a guy tonight because she is stunning. We continue making small talk when Kenny interrupts suddenly "Oh look what the cat dragged in" I turn and see Ryan and Selene have arrived. Selene is hanging off Ryan's arm and he starts talking to some of the boys when he pulls away and walks off on Selene. Her face looks annoyed and I smile. "He is such a douche bag" Kenny says. Soon Selene makes her way over with her posse. "Hello girls. Hiiiiii Linccc looking very hot tonight." Selene says and Ivy grinds her teeth and balls her fists up. Selene always flirted with Linc just to annoy Ivy. I tried to tell her to ignore it and so does Linc but she has a temper. Selene acts like she doesn't notice "Having fun? Ohhh Flo, look at you in a skirt. Thats...cute. Nice to see you wearing something feminine, doesn't happen often for you does it" she winks. I know that was her subtle way of talking down to me and being a smart ass. I suddenly become self conscious of my legs showing. Kenny sees me get uncomfortable "Selene maybe you should go find Ryan before he sticks his d**k in another dits" Selene gives Kenny a whip lash look and huffs. She turns to the girls, whispers something and walks away. Thank f**k! 

After a couple of hours the girls need another drink so I volunteer to get them another. A little time out from the insane amount of drunk people sounds good to me, even if it is only for a couple of minutes. I am bent over in front of the fridge getting some more bottles of alcohol when I start to feel a presence behind me, not a pleasant one either. Suddenly I hear a voice "Nice view Mary" I jump and quickly turn around dropping a bottle in the process, it smashes all over the floor. It was Ryan, f*****g Ryan. "What do you want creep?" I ask annoyed. I make my way to get a cloth to clean up the broken glass and alcohol everywhere before Sarah sees. "Just saying how nice the view was of you bent over like that. Who knew under those pants Mary had a good set of legs and a nice ass." I just roll my eyes and continue to pick up broken pieces of glass. Im hoping not paying him any attention may make him leave but I was very wrong. "Why don't you bend over for me again and I can show you what you're missing?" Ryan says slightly slurring, he is clearly wasted. "Ryan I am not in the mood okay, just go find Selene to bend over and let me clean this mess up" I stand to go to the bin when Ryan suddenly grabs my wrist and pushes me back up against the kitchen bench. "I would much rather bend this untouched virgin ass over and show you a thing or two" I struggle to move away from him "Don't make me sick, the idea of you coming near me makes me want to hurl. f**k off you loser and don't f*****g touch me again!" Ryans eyes were almost black and he grabs both my wrists and locks them above my head and pushes himself up against my body so I am unable to move. The smell of alcohol and cigarettes fill my nose and I turn to gag. "GET OFF ME!" I yell hoping maybe someone will hear. "Shhhhh no need to struggle babe you'll like it I promise" he says this whilst taking one hand from my wrists and slowly going to my thigh and up skirt. I squirm and try to push him away. Next thing I know Ryans lips smack into mine. I wanted to vomit and scream at the same time. Instead I manage to bite his lip and bite it hard, he instantly pulls away and lets go of my wrist to touch his lip "You f*****g b***h. I cant believe you bit me. I'm f*****g bleeding!!" I go to quickly escape but he grabs me around the waist and throws me back against the bench smacking my head on the cabinet above. "Now you are really going to get it you f*****g b***h!" "Ryan please stop. Let me go. Please!" I start to beg in a panic realising how much trouble I am in. This cant be happening. Not here. Not now. I cant lose it this way. Please God No Please!  I start to cry as he just pushes me harder up against the bench and wedges his legs between mine to force them open. As his hands makes his way under my skirt I scrunch my eyes together pleading with him again to stop when I hear a voice behind us. "Let her go" Ryan releases me slightly to turn around, I look over his shoulder to see who the voice belongs to. A guy was standing there, I have never seen him before in my life. I didn't care as he probably just saved me from being r***d. "This is none of your business bro, now f**k off" Ryan says to him slurring and going to turn back to me. "I said, Let her go. NOW" Ryan getting frustrated lets go of me completely and I nearly slump to the floor as my legs give way. "Or what? Huh? What the f**k are you going to do about it d**k?" Ryan steps towards this stranger clenching his fists. "Last chance. Let her go and walk away" The stranger is surprisingly calm and yet his voice had such a dominating tone that even Ryan hesitated. Before I could take another shaky breath Ryan was lunging forward fist clenched about to smack this stranger in the face. "LOOK OUT!" I yell. With incredible speed the stranger dodges the punch and comes up and punches Ryan in the face. Ryan yells out and falls onto the floor with a large bang. I look up at the stranger, frozen. What the f**k just happened? Who is this guy?  The stranger holds out his hand "Come on" I don't even hesitate to take his hand not breaking eye contact. I step over Ryan and turn around to look at him. He is holding his nose and moaning. Blood was pooling everywhere. "f**k you Ryan" I say as I kick him straight in between the legs. "AHHHHHHH you f*****g b***h" Ryan manages to say through pain and blood now going into his mouth. Satisfied I follow the stranger out of the kitchen. 

I find myself sitting out on the front porch on a seat with this Stranger in complete silence.  "Whats your name?" I ask finally "Jet" he replies. "Well thank you Jet for saving me back there. Ryan is a piece of shit." He doesn't say anything, just stares at me. "I am Flo by the way" I hold out my hand to shake his when his eyes look down at my hand. I hadn't realised I was covered in blood. My eyes widen "Oh gosh I was cleaning up the broken glass when Ryan...it must've cut me when he was holding my wrists" The stranger holds out his hand to take mine. He looks at it and then heads inside again without saying a word. He comes back shortly after with some supplies. He takes my hand again and begins cleaning it and wrapping it. I take the time to look at him This guy is gorgeous I think to myself. He has dark black hair with piercing blue eyes, olive skin and is built. He has to be over 6 foot easily. In no time he had cleaned my wound and wrapped it. "Make sure you give it another clean tomorrow and replace the wrapping. It isn't too deep so should heal pretty quickly" he looks up at me with a stern look making sure I was listening "Ohh..Okay. Thank you.I better go back to the party and find my friends they're probably wondering where I am." I get up and Jet silently follows me to the back yard again. I can feel his eyes on me the entire time, it makes me nervous but not in a bad way. As I walk into the yard I spot Ruby instantly sitting in Joels lap. I turn to thank Jet again but he was gone. Ruby looks up as she hears me call her name and she smiles, "Hey girl, what took you so long? Where's the drinks?" I force a smile "Oh ummm..I got distracted and someone must have drank them sorry" I lie as I am not sure I want to tell her what happened just yet. "Hey I am going to head home okay, I am tired and over it" Ruby looks at me "Really? How are you getting home? Are you sure?" "Yeah I'm fine babe. I will just walk home, it isn't that far to my house from here so don't stress. Can you let the others know for me?" Ruby nods and smiles. I give her a hug and head out through the drunk masses. I make it to the front of her house and as I am about to head towards my home I feel like someone is staring at me. I got a shiver and a strange tingling feeling that went straight to my core. "You're not walking home alone are you?" I turn to find Jet standing in the driveway looking at me. For a moment I just stare back, straight in his eyes I could get lost in those eyes "Oh yeah I am, but my house isn't that far and I could use the fresh air and quiet time to be honest" I say with a smile. "Do you think that's wise with Ryan still around and after what just happened?" He takes a few steps toward me. "Ummm..."  All of a sudden I am struggling to put a sentence together. "I will walk you home, make sure you get home safe." I nod and just start to walk with Jet silently. "I just wanted to say thank you again for tonight. Please don't mention it to anyone. I don't really want everyone to know. Small town so word travels quick and I like to keep my private life quiet." Jet looks at me sideways "It was no problem. I am just glad I got there when I did. And don't worry I wont say a word but you should report him. What he did. That asshole should pay." This last part Jets eyes went dark and he said it in such a way it gave me goosebumps.  We walk in silence, again, and finally reach my house. "Thank you again for tonight and for walking me home." I say looking at my feet God why does this guy make me so nervous?  Jet just stares at me intently. I look him in the eyes again and get lost. That tingling sensation starts again, from my toes all the way to my head. As my eyes stay locked on him the warmth starts to make its way between my thighs and I know I want him to kiss me. As I start to lean in making my intentions clear Jet breaks the silence "Goodnight Florence. Sleep well." Broken from my trance I look away and clear my throat "Um thanks I will. You too." Jet smiles and walks away "Will I see you again?!" I blurt out of nowhere  "Don't worry Florence. I promise you will see me again soon." And just like that he was gone. Where the f**k did that come from Flo!? Kissing a complete stranger after what I just went through. I don't even know the guy and I wanted to kiss him!? I silently go up the stairs and shower and get into bed. I lay there staring at the ceiling thinking over the night and thinking about Jet. I wanted to see him again and get to know him but how? I eventually fall asleep.
