Chapter ThreeAfter a stare that seems to last forever, he nods and gestures to his friends that he’ll be a while. We walk off towards the exit, heading for the smoking area outside. It was so hot inside the club that the chilly air feels pleasant against my bare arms. We move past a group of smokers to a quieter part of the street where we’d have some privacy.
