“WHAT DO you mean?”
I saw the look of surprise on Jake's face as he faced Clark who was now grinning. I was even surprised by what Clark said. Didn't he pressure me several times before that I broke up with him so now I suffer asking him for a second chance? Why is he saying something different now?
"Didn't you hear what I just said?" Clark asked him back.
I am nervous for both. If Jake used to be quiet whenever Clark and I were together, now he's coming closer to me. Before, I could only see him looking at me from afar because I knew he had feelings for me. It wasn't even a secret in our classroom.
