His mistake...

1123 Words
As expected I didn’t get to help in preparing our lunch as I’m always clumsy in terms of cooking, I’m not fond of measuring things in a cup or something and I always somehow ended up burning the food like a charcoal. So, Mrs. Wedge decided to let me take good care of baby Gritta instead before I can burn their house down. I gently swayed the baby in my arms which is in deep slumber. Aww, too cute. I’m not a fan of babies since they seemed not to like me and always cry before I could have a chance to carry them but I can make an exception to this little one, who hasn’t cried since I held her. Someone cleared his throat from behind earning my full attention to his. I turned around and faced him. “So, how are you?” he asked smiling from ear to ear, his gray sleeveless shirt sticking to him as sweat embeds on it looking all wet and surprisingly HOT. “I’m fine. Baby sitting.” I pouted as he came closer and kissed the baby’s pink chubby cheeks. “Can I carry the baby?” he smiled his seductive smile. “No, ewww! Take a bath first Mr. Stranger.” I said softly as I laugh a little not wanting to disturb the baby’s sleep. “Well, can I carry the one who’s carrying the baby?” he asked. He IS definitely seducing me. My goodness, don’t let hormones take me. I thought panicking. “Lunch is ready.” Mrs. Wedge announces and gently took the baby from me. “Thanks, Missy. You guys go ahead and eat first. I’ll wait for Richard to finish showering and then we’ll eat afterwards.” she stated softly lulling Gritta in her arms. I silently say a thankful prayer for they had sent an angel for me to escape this situation. “Oh, no. I’d like for us to have lunch together.” I replied cheerfully and even though I’m quite hungry, I’d still want to have lunch with them since it rarely happens in my family and thinking back to my parents, surprisingly made me sad for I missed them A LOT. I shook myself willing the triggering loneliness to go away and was about to follow the woman but Mr. Stranger grab my wrist. I shot a questioning look at him as I knitted my brows. “We’ll catch up Mrs. Wedge. I’ll just have a word with this lovely Missy here.” he said making me blushed once more. Mrs. Wedge chuckled and went to their room probably putting the baby in her crib. Their house has a mini living room, mini dining room, mini kitchen, mini bathroom and two mini bedrooms. Well, even though their house is little, the love within this family is humongous that I can’t help but envy baby Gritta. “Hey.” he said in a low voice as he pulled me closer to him, taking all my attention to his. “What?” I eyed him suspiciously. “You’re acting strange!” I added. He just chuckled and tugged my waist pulling me closer to his warm chest. He’s more of hugging me. “I am Mr. Stranger that’s why I act strange.” he whispered in my ears making my knees weak. “It’ll just be more or less six days from now.” He mumbled, his voice low. I didn’t get what he said and was about to ask him about it. But suddenly he pulled away and pinned me against the wooden wall. My eyes widened as he abruptly kisses me-a harsh, torrid one. I couldn’t think straight, my lips kind of hurts as he quite bits on them a bit, spreading heat throughout my body making my heart irregularly beats sending a tingling sensation within me. I pushed against his chest not wanting to give in but that didn’t made him stop as he began cupping both my cheeks tilting my head up deepening the kiss. His kisses slowing down, turning into a passionate, gentle one as if he has been longing for this. I mentally shook my head as anger welled inside me. NO, I can’t let him take advantage of me. I pushed him away with all my strength and slapped him real hard on the face feeling unsatisfied and proceeded to punch his chest... He didn’t try to budge or even try to defend himself. Good, I thought satisfied. “I expected you’re a good guy, not like THIS!” I grimaced disappointed and left him. The lunch we had is fairly quiet and A LOT awkward. We didn’t talk to each other from that moment until the sun sets and even barely glanced at each other. I could feel Mr. and Mrs. Wedge knows about the heated argument we had and tried to lighten the mood by asking about the weather, how fine it was and other meaningless things just to fill the heavy silence during lunch, Mr. Stranger throwing occasional comments here and there. Well, I was the one that’s truly avoiding him as he tried a couple of times to get me to talk to him but I just stared at him coldly. The night took over the day as Mr. Full Moon shone its silver rays making the darkness outside bearable. We had already showered and changed our clothes into clean comfortable ones and here’s my problem... MR. STRANGER and I will be sharing a room. It is too small really for two person having AWKWARD feelings for each other. I stood near the bed feeling his stare burning at the back of my head as he’s still standing near by the door, as if afraid that I’ll bite him. Well, I might if he’ll make a pass at me. “Umm, M-Missy, take the bed. I’ll just take the couch.” he said in a low voice looking everywhere but me. “There’s NO couch in this house.” I said bitterly as I faced him and sat at the edge of the single size bed. “It’s either, you’ll join me in this bed or you will not. If you prefer the floor then by all means, be my guest.” I then lay down on the bed and faced my back to him curling my body inwards feeling the cold night seep through the room. After sometime, I felt him lay beside me. “I-I’m s-so sorry.” his voice trembled as he covered both of us with a blanket providing a little warmth on my body. “Sleep.” I said firmly. “I-I’m rea—“ “Good night, Mr. Stranger.” I interjected completely dismissing him.
