I watched his expressions turning from one to another like the wheels in his brain turned with each realization.
I don't blame him. Not every day somebody gets asked about having their ex-lover turn into their wife for the sake of a fortune and a company. Leaving him to consider the offer, I darted my gaze towards his back to the other end where Remi stood furious and ready to kill me the moment I walk out of here.
"You're taking revenge aren't you?" He asked after a long pause.
Woah, that wasn't something I was expecting him to say. He can't possibly think that low of me.
