Successfully, I had managed to survive 15 minutes without bumping into anyone familiar because the fear of getting recognised here had settled in me after, upon entering here Liam and I encountered some familiar people.
It would have been a piece of cake for a woman like me who had been working for 3 years this way if I had attended parties without a mask as well. The thing was that I had always been used to showing up as Cupid where there were business-related people and now here I was just as Grace Roberts.
"I hope you like champagne." Came Liam's voice and I turned around to find him holding two glasses of champagne.
