I stared at the pregnant woman across me, in shock and fear.
What the f**k did she just say? My ears nor my whole being was able to register it. "What do you mean?" I managed to mutter all the while shaking with fear of her next words.
"Look, it's a long story but right now I can only tell you as much." She waved her hands around trying to calm me or at least get me to believe her.
A part of me feared what was to come next while the other one just didn't want to believe a word of hers but... Could this be true? He hadn't texted or called since yesterday and this could only mean one thing.
"How can I believe you? You have tried messing things up before, I can't just believe anything you say." I scowled at her.
