I rolled over in bed, it was Saturday so normally I would spend the morning in bed, but I was set to meet with some shelters to meet some possible dogs for adoption. Martha and Jericho had both reminded me of the dinner, they had decided on tonight instead. I didn't really want to go, but I had already promised them and felt too guilty to cancel at the last minute. Dragging myself out of bed, I made my way to the kitchen, making a cup of coffee to enjoy before my day officially began. I took a shower after and left for my appointment with the shelter.
