Kim They were kicking me out of my house, and I wasn't going to let the humiliation continue. I took my dignity and walked toward the door without saying a word. I wasn't going to give them the satisfaction of seeing me suffer. I didn't even take my things and walked past both of them. Their cruel eyes stopped on me. When I crossed that door, everything I loved would end. But I knew it had ended when Theo brought another woman into our home. I had the foolish hope that he would beg and ask for my forgiveness, but Theo remained silent. I crossed the threshold, and Anastasia closed the door behind me. I heard laughter on the other side of the walls and had to summon all my strength to keep from crying out loud. I had nowhere to go, so I returned to my sister's house, seeking help. Our family never had much money, but my luck changed when I met Theo. He made sure I lacked nothing and shared his wealth with me. He was a powerful billionaire businessman, an inheritance left by his family. But Theo had taken everything from me, and now I had nothing. The first day apart was a nightmare. I cried all night until I fell asleep. I still hoped for a call from Theo. But I knew he was living his life happily with a new woman. He had replaced me so quickly. He blamed me for what happened to our baby. A month has passed. I had planned to leave for a nearby town to start anew. Theo was a famous businessman. And his posters with his photographs were everywhere. Theo appeared with Anastasia in the pictures. He introduced her as his future wife. I couldn't bear it anymore. But I thought everything would change when Theo knocked on my sister's door. I was surprised to see him standing in front of me. It had been more than a month since I last saw him. I crossed my arms angrily. I had thought every night about saying horrible things to him if I saw him again. But the words wouldn't come out of my mouth. I noticed Theo behaving strangely. He smiled at me. "Can I know what you're doing here?" I dared to ask. "Are you alone, Kim?" "Excuse me?" "I don't smell anyone else in the house," he replied. "I am alone. What do you want? Why are you here? You are here to attack me for something?" I spat out with venom. Theo took a step forward. And he held my cheeks to press his mouth to mine. My eyes widened in surprise. Theo had his eyes closed and was enjoying the kiss while clinging to my body. I couldn't react to what was happening. But Theo slightly pulled away from my mouth to tell me something: he still loved me. My heart was weak. I fell for Theo's words and the intensity and passion of the kiss. I remembered what had happened between us, but my skin was more powerful than my head. “What are you doing?” I asked after a few seconds. “Kiss me,” he pleaded. “You smell like alcohol. You’re drunk.” “No, I’m not. I’m sober. And I know what I’m saying,” Theo assured. Theo closed the door and led me to my room. I knew we shouldn’t have done it, but we made love like the first time. Theo and I fell asleep together. When I woke up in the morning, he was already gone. I felt disoriented, but I went to his office to talk to him. The staff looked at me strangely because they knew I was no longer the owner's wife. I entered his office. “What are you doing? Don’t you know how to knock?” Theo used a harsh tone. “I... I’m sorry. I think...” “Who do you think you are to enter my office like this?” Why was he talking to me that way? Why was Theo pretending to hate me again? “Sorry,” I felt uncomfortable. Theo stopped looking at me and continued signing papers. He completely ignored my presence. I stayed silent for a moment. “Are you going to stand there all day or are you going to leave, Kim?” He didn’t look at me. “Why are you treating me as if nothing happened last night?” “What happened last night?” he feigned ignorance. My pulse quickened. I needed to process Theo's response before losing my mind. “I can’t believe you’re doing this to me. You can’t come to my house and tell me you love me! You and I slept together, Theo!” I walked furiously up to his desk. Theo looked up to see me. He was angry. He abruptly stood up from his chair. “Don’t ever mention that again,” he pointed his finger at me. “Are you going to pretend you don’t remember?” “What happened last night was a mistake. I was drunk.” “I noticed you were sober. You said you loved me,” my eyes were filled with tears. “I don’t know what you expected, Kim. It was a mistake. It wasn’t true. I was drunk and didn’t know what I was doing. I don’t want Anastasia to see you. Get out of here,” he ordered. “Theo… Last night wasn’t what you’re saying. I was there and I know what happened. It wasn’t just s*x. We made love.” He ignored me again. Anastasia entered the office. “What are you doing here, Kim?” she looked at me indignantly. Anastasia walked over to Theo and sat on his lap. Theo wrapped his arm around her waist. I can’t believe I gave myself to him last night. Theo has humiliated me again. “Don’t worry, darling. Kim is just leaving.” “Let me talk!” I narrowed my eyes. “If you don’t leave, I’ll call the police, Kim,” Theo threatened. I saw Anastasia’s satisfied smile while I shed tears. There was no point in staying there. He didn’t care about what happened. He used me, and I wouldn’t let him use me again. I left his office. But before I did, I made a spiteful comment. “I shouldn’t have let us get into my bed last night.”
