Chapter Seventy-Five Lincoln I was going to park in front of Michaela’s house again when she said to use the driveway. Unlike modern houses, the garage was separate and in the back of the property, so the driveway was long, and gated to block entry to the backyard. Once again, she took my hand to help her out of the Charger. Then we walked to her door. She took her keys out of her clutch. “Um, I haven’t given you the tour yet because of Matty, but also…” She sighed. Lifted her gaze to mine. “When I moved, I didn’t hide everything in storage again.” I cupped her cheek. “If you’re trying to tell me you have photos of Jonny in the house, I’m okay with it. You should.” She leaned into my palm and I hugged her. “It’s not obnoxious.” I chuckled. “Don’t worry, I didn’t expect a shrine.”
