Far beneath the world of werewolves…
Beyond the reach of the Moon Goddess…
The Kingdom of Hell stirred.
Dark clouds rolled endlessly across crimson skies as rivers of molten lava flowed between towering black mountains. In the distance stood Obsidian Castle, the seat of the Demon Royal Family, its towering spires disappearing into the blood-red heavens.
Inside the throne room, an eerie silence hung in the air.
Rows of demon generals stood with their heads bowed, too afraid to meet the gaze of the man seated upon the obsidian throne.
Lucien Draven.
The Crown Prince of Hell.
His silver eyes were fixed on an ancient scroll spread across the table before him.
“The relic…” he murmured.
“It has finally been found.”
A hooded elder stepped forward and bowed deeply.
“Your Highness, our scouts have spent centuries searching for it. According to the prophecy, the relic is no longer in Hell.”
Lucien slowly lifted his gaze.
“Where is it?”
The elder swallowed nervously.
“It is hidden… somewhere within the werewolf realm.”
A heavy silence filled the room.
No demon had stepped into the werewolf realm for over two thousand years.
The ancient treaty between Hell and the Moon Goddess forbade it.
Breaking that law could ignite a war between the two worlds.
One of the generals stepped forward.
“Your Highness, allow us to retrieve it. There is no need for you to risk yourself.”
Lucien rose from his throne, his long black cloak sweeping across the polished floor.
The pressure of his aura filled the chamber, forcing even the strongest demons to lower their heads.
“No.”
His voice was calm, yet it carried unquestionable authority.
“This relic is too important.”
Legend spoke of the Infernal Heart, an ancient relic forged before the first demon king claimed the throne. It was said to contain a fragment of primordial power capable of strengthening—or destroying—the balance between Hell and the mortal realm.
Centuries ago…
It had vanished without a trace.
Now, after years of searching, they had finally uncovered its location.
If it fell into the wrong hands, Hell itself could collapse.
Lucien closed the ancient scroll.
“I will retrieve it myself.”
The chamber fell silent.
The elder hesitated before speaking again.
“Your Highness… there is one more thing.”
Lucien looked at him.
“The relic appears to awaken only under the Blood Moon.”
Outside, thunder rumbled across the crimson sky.
Lucien’s lips curled into a faint smile.
“Then we leave tonight.”
Moments later, the massive Gates of Hell began to tremble.
Ancient runes carved into the black iron doors glowed a fiery crimson. The ground shook violently as chains thicker than ancient trees snapped one after another.
With a deafening roar…
The Gates of Hell slowly opened for the first time in centuries.
Dark flames spilled into the night as Lucien stepped through the portal, followed by two of his most trusted generals.
Neither of them knew…
That somewhere in the werewolf realm, fate was already weaving a bond no god, demon, or prophecy could change
⸻
Lyra couldn’t bear the noise of the celebration any longer.
The laughter.
The music.
The joyful cries of newly mated couples.
Each sound was a painful reminder that she had been left behind once again.
Without saying a word to anyone, she quietly slipped away from the festival grounds and wandered toward the edge of the forest.
The cool night breeze brushed against her face as she wrapped her arms around herself.
Above her, the Blood Moon glowed brighter than ever, painting the entire forest in crimson light.
She stopped beneath an ancient oak tree and looked up at the moon.
“So this is it?” she whispered bitterly. “Everyone my age has found their mate… except me.”
A lump formed in her throat.
She tried to blink away the tears threatening to fall.
“Maybe they’re right.”
“Maybe something really is wrong with me.”
She lowered her head, letting out a shaky breath.
At that very moment…
The ground trembled beneath her feet.
A strange pressure spread through the forest.
The wind suddenly stopped.
Not a single bird chirped.
Not a single leaf moved.
An eerie silence swallowed the night.
Lyra frowned.
“What was that?”
Miles away, hidden deep within the forbidden woods where no wolf dared to enter, ancient black gates rose from the earth.
Massive iron doors covered in glowing crimson runes slowly creaked open.
Dark flames spilled into the werewolf realm.
One after another…
Three figures stepped out of the portal.
The man in front walked with calm authority, his long black cloak swaying behind him. Every step he took carried a terrifying aura that made the forest itself seem to bow before him.
Lucien Draven.
The Crown Prince of Hell.
His silver eyes swept across the unfamiliar land.
“So this is the werewolf realm,” he said quietly.
One of his generals stepped beside him.
“Your Highness, the relic’s energy is faint, but it is somewhere nearby.”
Lucien gave a single nod.
“Then we begin the search.”
As they moved through the darkness, something caught his attention.
Not far away…
A lone woman stood beneath the Blood Moon.
She looked so small against the towering trees, yet something about her presence made the air feel… different.
Almost instinctively, Lucien lifted his gaze.
At the same moment, Lyra sensed someone watching her.
She slowly turned.
Across the forest…
Their eyes met.
Time seemed to stand still.
The silver in Lucien’s eyes shimmered beneath the moonlight.
Lyra’s breath caught.
For reasons she couldn’t explain, her heart skipped a beat.
Neither of them spoke.
Neither of them moved.
It lasted only a few seconds.
Startled by the intensity of his gaze, Lyra quickly looked away.
“Who is he?” she wondered.
Thinking he was nothing more than a traveler passing through the forest, she shook her head and continued walking back toward her cabin.
Lucien watched her disappear between the trees.
For the first time in centuries…
Something had distracted him from his mission.
But he quickly pushed the strange feeling aside.
“The relic comes first,” he said coldly.
Without another glance, he turned and disappeared into the darkness with his generals.
Neither of them realized…
That a single glance beneath the Blood Moon had already begun to change the fate of two worlds.
